Forever in my heart

An ambulance enters the hospital premises in speed as some nurses runs out with a stretcher and a lady is been brought out from the ambulance and put into the stretcher as the nurses pushes her in hurriedly, the lady clutches her heart with her hand in pain and is crying bitterly. Different people were going about doing what they came for, also the doctors, nurses and other hospital workers were doing their own work too. Everyone seems very busy like no one noticed any thing. She was pushed into the emergency room as some stickers are being placed on her with some wires connected to it and also the machine giving them the readings of what the heart was doing and it's condition. After that, the doctors placed her on drip immediately and started administrating medication to her. She is been put in the ICU for further monitoring. At the waiting room. A lady is seen panicking as an elderly man and woman runs towards her. "Sarah, how is she? Any news yet?" The elderly man asked in a worried voice. "Nothing yet Jude!" She replied with a sad face as she walks over to the woman who happens to be the man's wife and hugged her as the woman cries bitterly. "God please, don't let my daughter die. She's all we have in this world". The woman prayed still crying. "It's okay Rose! She won't die, she's a fighter remember?" Jude went over to comfort his wife. "Yeah, she's a fighter, she's gonna make it out okay? So please stop crying?" Sarah comforted Rose. A doctor comes out and walks over to them. "Mr Johnson??" The doctor called out. "Yes that's me". Jude stood up and went to the doctor as the women did same with a worried face. Sarah was hoping and praying her friend comes out alive. She's been so afraid. " How is my daughter doing, doctor?" Rose asked immediately. "She's fine now, out of danger for now and still needs to be monitored as well so she's in the ICU room and family are allowed to visit her but do not disturb or wake her up". The doctor instructed them. "Thank you doctor" Jude said as the doctor left. Sarah sat in the waiting room as Jude and Rose went to the ICU room after putting on the hospital clothes, caps and gloves. Sarah sat down thinking of what happened earlier when her phone rang, she checked the caller and it's "Babe" so she picked up immediately. "Hello babe!" She said into the phone. "Hey where are you? I went to the company and they said you left". A man's voice at the other end asked. "Am at the hospital…." She was saying but the guy cut her off. "Are you hurt? What happened? Which hospital? Am on my way now so send me the address Immediately". He hurriedly requested in a panick tone. She sent the address Immediately since he didn't give her a chance to talk before hanging up. At the ICU room. Rose sat down, holding her daughter's hand and crying while Jude stood behind her patting her back. "Kaima! Mom is here now, please don't leave me? I won't be able to survive it if you do". She kissed the hand. Kaima was lying on the bed motionless. She seem not to hear her mom crying and that made Jude's heart heavy seeing his daughter lying lifeless on the bed and his wife won't stop crying as well. He wished there was something he could do at the moment. They stayed in the room watching their daughter sleep as Rose won't stop crying and Jude had to console her. Adrian drove his car like a crazy man towards the hospital. He parked and came down, locked his car and ran into the hospital. He saw Sarah sitting down in the waiting room and walked to her. "What happened babe?" He asked as he got to her. She stood up on hearing his voice and hugged him tight. "Am fine, it's not me who got hurt but my friend". She disengaged from the hug and kisses his lips lightly. "Where is she? What happened to her? He asked checking her out. "She's in the ICU and her parents are there with her now". She sat down again as he did the same close to her. "She had an heart attack while we were having lunch at a close by eatery, I called an ambulance and we rushed her here". She sniffed as Adrian patted her back. He looked at her face closely and could see the traces of dry tears. "It's okay, she will be fine. Let's go get your face washed up". He helped her stand and they went to the restroom. The next day…………….. "Kaima I heard you are awake so I had to leave what I was doing to come see for myself". Sarah who just rushed inside kaima's ward said in a rush with smiles plastered on her face. "Yes Sarah, she woke up last night". Rose said beaming with smiles. Sarah hugged kaima then sat down on the bed close to kaima as she looked from mother to daughter. "Mom has she eaten? How is her health? Kaima I missed you so much". Sarah spat out in a go happily. "Am fine Sarah, I've eaten and I missed you too babe". Kaima smiled at her best friend as they both held hands. "I will leave you two to talk while I go check on your dad kaima!" Rose excused herself and left the ward leaving the two ladies. "Kaima you got me worried and scared to death, how on earth will you hide such important thing from me. I thought we are best friends? Why didn't you tell me you have heart issues?" Sarah scolds her friend. Kaima kept looking at Sarah's face and smiling like there's something fun on her face. Sarah also looked at kaima with a confused expression on her face. "Hello young lady? Is there something fun on my face?" Sarah asked wondering why she was smiling. "(Hahaha) you are not different from my mom. Well am sorry I hide that from you, I didn't want you to pity me okay. I just wanted us to be the best friend we could be". Kaima explained in a straight face. "It's okay, am sorry for getting mad at you. I was just hurt because you hide such an important thing from me". Sarah said hugging kaima as they both started laughing. At the Gym. "Hey man, what's up?" Adrian greeted as he walked up to Jordan who is lifting weights. "Cool, just trying to work out a little. How are you?" Jordan replied with an expressionless face. "Am good, work is going great too." Adrian got himself ready to do some push up while Jordan drank some water from his water bottle. "Hey what's with Sarah? Did she travel or something" Jordan asked as he went back to lifting weights. "Well she has been busy lately with work and also her friend is at the hospital so she is also supporting her". Adrian was trying to balance himself for the push ups as he started going up and down. They both finished at the gym then drove home to prepare for work. Jordan got to the styles mansion, packed his car and went in as his personal servant took his things inside. Jordan doesn't let any of the maids in the mansion attend to him. He doesn't like ladies coming too close to him. His mom also is not an exception from going too close to him. He got in to his room, took his bath and dressed up in a black suit, black shoes, wore a Rolex wristwatch, a cross earrings then styled his hair to the side. He looked himself up in the mirror and was okay with his looks before leaving his room. Ivan walked up to him and took his brief case from him. Ivan is Jordan's personal assistant and has come to pick him up from home. They both walked down stairs and met Mrs styles coming out of the kitchen. "Son, won't you have breakfast first?" Mrs styles asked from the kitchen door. Jordan didn't respond like he never heard her words or didn't know she was talking to him, walked out of the house without sparing her a glance. "Good morning, Mrs styles!" Ivan greeted before joining Jordan outside. She only nodded with a sad face before going upstairs. The driver pulled up at the parking space of 'styles interior designing and furnituring company'. Jordan got down from the car and walked to the elevator with Ivan, Ivan started telling him about his schedules for the day. "Sir you have a meeting with Mr Robert by 2pm regarding the western kitchen designs and a meeting with your dad by 5pm at the mansion". Ivan stated as he looked at his iPad and walked along side Jordan. Jordan nodded and walked out of the elevator as all the employees in the third floor turned to him, the girls were gushing over his handsome face and body structures. "The CEO is handsome as always". "Wow, I could have him as my boyfriend, gosh". …….. so many comments about Jordan as he walked pass them to his office. Adrian on the other hand got home, prepared for work and joined his parents and sister at the dinning table. "Good morning dad, good morning mom". He greeted as he took his sit next to his dad. "Morning son!" His dad nodded to him. "How are you feeling this morning son? You look so handsome as ever". His mom asked and complimented him. "Am okay mom and thanks for the compliment" he replied smiling at his mom. They all started eating and Mrs Cruz turned to her daughter with a puzzled look. "Katie! Didn't you see your brother? She asked a little annoyed. "Mom please don't start or I will have to leave. What was he expecting when he chooses not to see me as his sister". She said nonchalantly as she ate her food. Mr Cruz got angry and could not take it any longer. "You are very stupid to talk to your brother in that manner. Who do you think you are? Are you not ashamed of yourself? Look at what you turned into? I never gave birth to a disgrace and a failure so tell me where you came from? Mr Cruz cursed as Adrian held him and ask him to calm down. " Honey please enough, no matter what she is our daughter". Mrs Cruz said in an angry tone. Katie glared at Adrian with anger, stood up and left. Mr Cruz was so mad at the display of the little spoilt brat. "Dad! Come on, it's not worth it. Let her be". He said calming his father down. "Honestly I don't like all this, why are you both treating her so bad? She is the daughter of this family for goodness sake". Mrs Cruz stated showing her level of anger which made Mr Cruz angry even more and he stood up and left. "I guess today is not one of the good days for the family right? Adrian winked at his mom then stood up and went to work.
