Another duke raised the question. They were pissed off by the fact that an average slave was able to kill an honorable duke. In the eyes of vampires, human slaves were only tools for them. A few more vampires joined him as well. They all passed Lisa a glare. However they could do nothing. Lisa was safe in Cyrus's arms. She was still sobbing and shaking in fear.
Cyrus retorted sharply, leaving no room for discussion,
" I would have killed him a long time ago. In our kingdom, everyone gets their equal rights. Forcing yourself on a woman is always a crime no matter who does it. I don't care about status."
He then turned his attention to Lisa before pulling her up,
" Let's go! You shouldn't stay here longer."
