The Alpha's Mate

I knew from the time I could walk and talk that Tyler was meant to be mine. But he always saw me as an annoying little kid in the pack. Tyler was 6 years older than me and future Alpha of our pack. He was tall, muscular, and every girls dream. He had hazel eyes that changed color, even in his human form. And most of all, he hated me and my constant trying to get his attention. I had hoped all along that when I turned 18, my need to find my mate would take away my crazy crush on him, which is what everyone told me this was. Tomorrow was my 18th birthday and I was so excited. I would either find out Tyler was my one true mate, as I had suspected all along and we would live happily ever after, or I would find out he wasn't and if he wasn't, I would leave the pack in search for my mate. I forgot that there were other options involved, like he could be my mate and reject me, which would also end in me leaving the pack but in that case I would be broken and wounded. Sometimes the moon goddess would grant you a second chance mate but you never knew if that was going to happen.
