The Alpha's Mate

Episode 6- Aria

Mandy had kept me out all day shopping which was suspicious because she hated shopping. But I loved it so I wasn’t going to complain. But when she insisted that I buy a dress and shoes for my birthday ‘dinner’ tonight I knew something had to be up, so I got the outfit which I looked hot in! It was a gold floor length dress with a black lace overlay and the heels were the perfect height and fit. We decided to go get out makeup, nails, and hair done for the evening at a local salon.  It was about 6pm by the time we got back to my house. We got changed into our dresses and my parents came in the door.

“My baby! I can’t believe tonight you are 18!” My mom said with tears in her eyes, she was always a little dramatic.

“Alright, baby girl, are you ready? We have a surprise for you!” My dad said and took my hand.

We walked over to the pack house which was pitch black and this place was never completely dark, as soon as we walked in everyone jumped out and yelled “SURPRISE!!!”

I can’t say at this point that I was completely surprised, but I couldn’t believe my parents went to all this trouble for me. And how did they get permission to use the ballroom?! It didn’t matter I was in heaven!

“Were you surprised? It was so hard to spend the day with you and not tell you what was happening!” Mandy beamed, proud that she had kept the secret.

“Of course, thank you! You have always been such a good friend!”

Just then, the room started to spin a little and I was feeling woozy. I have never felt like this before. Then, my wolf finally made her appearance as she whispered ‘mate is near’.

I ran to the bathroom not sure what else to do and right as I was about to the door I ran into a rock solid body. “MATE!” My wolf screamed. He turned around, eyes glowing and in a low growl he said “MINE! MATE!”

It took me a minute, I knew that voice…. It was Tyler. I had been right all along!
