"Why?" asked Max. What do you need from the boss? "he chuckles.
"How much do you need? Don Miguel asked. Though he already knew that he was abducted, He was thinking that these men needed his money, as Don Miguel Monticello was known for being one of the richest businessmen in their province. Though Don Miguel was scared, he managed to not show his fear. He thought that the members of the syndicate would scare him more.
"Oh, this old man is rich," Max said at the same time punched to Don Miguel.
"What did you do? Why did you punch him? " Leo raised his voice to Max.
"Oh, why? Max asked.
"Why did punch him?
"Haven't you heard what he said? He asked us how much we need from him. He is insulting us" Max complained.
"Why, isn't that true? His money is indeed the reason why we kidn*pped him, what's wrong with asking him.
"Whatever our reason for abducting him, it is no longer his business to ask us," uttered Max.
Don't you see, he's an old man? " Leo scolded Max. "He's old, you're going to hurt him," he defended.
"Eh, what if I hurt him? Why be a captive if we treat you like a king? Answer it.
"There's no point in hurting him. Maybe you forgot," Leo replied.
"Oh, there you two are again, Don't you know anything but to fight?" Bogart rebuked.
Don Miguel's First Night at the Hands of the Syndicate
It was past ten o'clock in the evening when they arrived at that place. Leo and his companions took Don Miguel with his eyes covered with a scarf inside the big house, which, although it is old, still traces the luxury of the owner of the house. His eyes were still fixed until he was taken to that dark place. Leo soon removed the blindfold from Don Miguel's eyes. Although his blindfolds have been removed, he still seems to be blindfolded because he cannot see. Until it gradually becomes brighter due to the light of the public light on the road that enlightens the room at least.
"What is this? It is so dark" Leo complaint.
"Eh, what about you if it's dark?" Max replied, "that's good for saving electricity." He added
"Can't we put at least 5 watts?" Leo asked.
"What do you care if it's dark? Is this your room? "It's a mocking question.
"You stay in this room; let me see how you feel," he scolded Max.
"What is that again? Aren't you going to stop fighting? Bogart's voice approached them.
"So here you are Don Miguel," Bogart smiled. "Nice to meet you, Don Miguel, "You're still not too old," he added.
"What do you want from me?" Don Miguel asked.
"I'm sorry, but right now I don't know also the reason why you were abducted."
"You abducted me for nothing?" asked Don Miguel sarcastically.
2
"Tell me, how much do you want," Don Miguel asked again.
"Don't you dare to talk us that way?" Max asked sarcastically.
"Money? Do you need money from me? Tell me how much, and I will give it to you", he said firmly.
"You know, I noticed you earlier, you are very interested in this old man. What do you care about this old man and I have noticed earlier that he is affected? Max asked.
"Fight outside," said Bogart was disgusted again.
There were three of them. Don Miguel was abandoned in deplorable circumstances. The room was dimly lit. The lone public light on the road that was close by was at least providing him some illumination in that dimly lit chamber. He couldn't possibly sleep in the room. There is no bed. Even if simply the cardboard beds were no longer in use. How is he going to be able to lie down? How will he be able to sleep? The cold would get into Don Miguel's back if he lay down on the floor. He'll undoubtedly become unwell. He can't get sick in those situations. Mosquitoes attack him from time to time. He felt terrible for himself, but he refused to be seen by his captors begging their help.
Suddenly, Don Miguel heard footsteps. He was carrying a flashlight.
"Apart from the flashlight he was carrying, he had other things with him," Don Miguel said to himself.
He approached him and lowered the load. It was a long chair that was made from bamboo.
He did not see it immediately because it was dark.
"Don Miguel, please hold this," said the familiar voice of the man who came and handed him the flashlight. Don Miguel held up the flashlight. The familiar voice replaced the light bulb. The whole room was lighted. Don Miguel saw that he was in a room surrounded by railings.
When Leo put the light bulb in, the room lit up and he left. Don Miguel thought of running away as the young guy failed to lock the rail, but he was afraid to escape as he knew that his abductors had guns.
The light bulb was just 5 watts, but that's okay somehow. He will no longer crawl in the dark and, most of all, he has a long chair that is made from bamboo. At the very least, he will no longer be forced to sleep on the cold floor, but the mosquito bites will keep him awake from time to time.
A little less than ten minutes later, the young guy with the familiar voice came back again. This time he was carrying two blankets and a pillow.
"Here are two blankets; use them," Leo said while placing them on the long chair made from bamboo.
It also turned out that he brought him a mosquito coil that was somehow resistant to mosquitoes. Don Miguel was a little pleased.
"Even though this person is criminal, he has a good heart," he said to himself. As the man with the familiar voice continued to speak to him, he remembered: It was the young guy who led the a*******n and who pointed the g*n at him. Once again, Don Miguel felt scared.
The young guy left locked the railings and went out. Don Miguel was once again alone. He sat down and remembered Laila and Dahlia.
"How are they? It's Dahlia's birthday. Did they know I was kidn*pped? Or are they still busy celebrating Dahlia's birth? Don Miguel asked himself. He was in that state of mind when he fell asleep. It's tired. He wondered, not only with his body but also with his mind, who was the mastermind of his k********g. The members of the syndicate mention the "bossing" (which means their boss)
Don Miguel asked himself.
Meanwhile, as Laila expected to happen, the mansion was brightened by the decorations placed on it, along with the tiny lights flickering at night. People started to come. She hasn't seen Dahlia yet. But she knew her daughter was in Eiya's apartment. Suddenly, she heard the voice of Dahlia from afar. Laila smiled a bit. At least, Dahlia forced herself

to come home to entertain her friends and some acquaintances who had forgotten her birthday. Eiya was there too. entertaining some of Dahlia's guests who are almost all her age.
"I hope Leo is here," she said, smiling at her friend as they both got drinks for the other guests.
"Oh, there you are again, daydreaming. Forget it, you won't see him again," she said to her friend.
"I bet we will see each other again," she assured.
"Are you relying on a person you've only seen and met once?" is the question.
Always, next week, maybe we'll meet. She smiled.
"What?" It is a shocking question.
Laila began to worry.
While everyone was having fun, Laila gradually began to feel anxious. It will be eleven o'clock in the evening but her father has not yet arrived. It used to be that night the father came. It usually reaches eight o'clock in the evening, but it never reaches nine o'clock. It was not his custom to make Laila worry about him not coming home. He always found a way to give Laila a word if he came home late.
"Why isn't Dad here yet?" she asked herself. "She's so excited this morning about her granddaughter's birthday, but he, himself, is not yet around until this time," Laila said worriedly to herself.
However, because someone occasionally draws her attention, she loses her attention toward her father's absence from Dahlia's birthday party.
"Why did Papa not call?" she asked herself from time to time, as her worries grew with each passing minute. "Is his cellphone running out of battery? She asked herself again.
"But there's a charger," she answered her own question, "or maybe the charger was left in his room so he couldn't charge it." The reason it tries to think so as not to worry too much.
But she knew for herself, it was not Don Miguel's job to worry about the child. He immediately calls if he knows he is working overtime in the office or instructs his secretary to let him know where he is or what he is doing and why he is late. But that night, he did not receive a single call. He thought maybe he hadn't bothered the secretary anymore because he knew he was going to his grandson's party. He was just sighing.
"Sweetheart" called Magno. "Where are you going? I've been looking for you for a while, "he said.
"Why?" Magno asked his wife.
"Our friends are looking for you," he said, then took Laila on his shoulders.
Laila temporarily dismissed the concern of the father to face the godparents of the child, who is currently celebrating his twenty-third year.
