Chapter 19 Megan woke up the next morning with an ominous feeling something would happen, something that would change the whole direction of the investigation. She was quiet as she got up, thinking about all that had happened over the last few days. She fed the dogs without her usual chatter, and sat at the kitchen table, coffee cup in hand staring out over the pool, wondering when the other shoe would drop.
