Chapter 20 Margo stared at Lucy, her mouth hanging open, not sure if she heard the other woman correctly. She looked over at Adele for confirmation. When the older woman gave her a broad smile, Margo couldn’t hide her astonishment. "You're saying all those rhinestones in the picture of my grandmother's wedding veil were real diamonds. How? And why?" Lucy explained what she surmised happened, based on what Margo said and what she witnessed herself throughout the veil. "I believe your family members took the finest jewels they had to their name and sewed them into the veil. I don't think the veil was originally supposed to have any gems and they created a design following the design of the lace. This way it looked as if the stones were meant to be part of the original design of the veil.
