Chapter 23
A stunned silence followed as everybody took in what Megan had said.
"That's brilliant, Mom."
It surprised Megan when Emma spoke first, and even more surprised by the fact she supported the idea. She looked around at the others and saw their nodding heads as they came to understand her plan and agree to it. Even Aidan seemed to accept it was unavoidable.
Detective Carson spoke up, congratulating Megan on her idea.
"It is a clever idea, Megan. But, will one day give us enough time to set up a trap and catch the interest of our killer? What if he doesn't go to the diner today?"
