The next day was supposed to be her wedding day. Instead of relaxing and enjoying the traditional bridal pampering, Megan found herself bogged down giving statements to the police, checking on Opal, and having a long discussion with Gerald Frost. She didn't see Aidan until almost 3 o'clock, and by that time the sky was almost black with rain clouds. It was pouring, and lightning flashed across the skies and thunder rumbled.
