A shocked silence settled in the room, and then, as if on cue, they all talked at once. The resounding question— was Lucy sure?
"I'm ninety-nine percent sure, but I want to do a few more tests just to be positive. This is huge! I must tell you, looking at the cut of these diamonds, they are some of the highest grades of diamonds I’ve ever seen. And they range in size so evenly it's almost as if they were a part of a larger piece that had been broken down to fit in the veil. Somebody took a lot of care doing this.
