Chapter 13
There was little for Megan to say in response to Mr. Frost’s bold statement. The man spoke the truth, and she admired the fact he didn't sugarcoat it. He understood his niece's faults, yet he still loved her; she could tell from the pain she saw haunting his eyes. Not wanting to take up any more of his time, she said her goodbyes. Almost as if by magic, Judy showed up to escort her to the door. Megan started to say goodbye when Judy stopped her.
"Megan, we all know what type of person Shannon was, but she had some good qualities too. One of those was how much she loved her family. I never met the fiancé, but she was excited about her wedding. It seems awful she had to die this way. I hope you can find answers and bring Mr. Frost peace."
