The group was cordial and welcoming to Detective Carson. Yet, Megan couldn't help but notice the vast difference between the way he fit in with her friends versus the way Sheriff Green always fit in, like a part of her extended family. She wanted to be fair to the detective, after-all being new to town he didn't have many friends, but she also couldn't forget the fact he considered Brandon his primary suspect in Shannon's murder.
