Episode 1
Ryan was once a poor young man working in a civil construction company.
He struggled every day, earning just enough to survive, but he never stopped dreaming.
One evening, while crossing a busy road, lost in thoughts of a better future…
his life ended in a tragic accident.
But fate wasn’t finished with him.
Ryan opened his eyes again.
This time… he was in a luxurious mansion.
He looked in the mirror —
He was eight years old.
Reborn into one of the richest families in the city.
And he remembered everything.
But this life wasn’t peaceful.
The entire family was controlled by his grandfather — a strict and powerful man
who believed only in discipline, business, and legacy.
Ryan’s father, however, was completely different.
He had no interest in business.
His passion was filmmaking and production — creating stories, not running companies.
But his grandfather never accepted that.
To him, business was everything.
And because Ryan’s father refused to follow that path,
his grandfather saw him as incapable and irresponsible.
So he never gave him permission…
never gave him freedom.
Because of this, Ryan’s father was stuck.
Not allowed to follow his passion.
Not capable of running the business.
And slowly… losing his place in the family.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s two uncles and one aunt were fully involved in the business.
They were ambitious, strategic… and always watching for control.
To them, Ryan’s father was already out of the game.
And Ryan?
Just an 8-year-old child… with no future in the empire.
But they were wrong.
Ryan wasn’t just a child.
Inside him lived a man who had known struggle, failure, and regret.
The night had finally arrived.
Ryan stepped out of the car, adjusting his small suit.
For a brief moment… a few people glanced at him.
Not with curiosity.
Not with surprise.
Just a normal, polite look —
The kind people give when they notice a child at a formal event.
Nothing more.
The mansion was filled with lights and laughter.
Guests moved around confidently, talking about business and status.
Ryan walked beside his parents, quietly observing everything.
Inside the hall, his uncles were busy greeting important guests.
His aunt stood nearby, smiling and maintaining appearances.
And at the center of it all —
His grandfather.
One by one, people approached him.
Shaking hands.
Giving gifts.
Wishing him well.
Ryan followed his parents forward.
No special attention.
No unusual reaction.
Just another family member in the line.
When it was their turn, Ryan stepped forward with everyone else.
He bowed slightly and said, just like the others —
“Happy birthday, Grandpa.”
His grandfather gave a brief nod.
A simple acknowledgment.
Nothing more.
No one noticed anything unusual.
No one paid extra attention.
But Ryan didn’t mind.
In fact… this was exactly what he wanted.
The children’s room was now a bit lively.
A few kids had gathered, opening their gifts and trying them out.
Ryan took out his gift—
A rideable toy horse.
He sat on it and tried it once, just to check.
It worked fine.
Before he could do anything else, one of his cousins came over.
“I want to ride it,” the cousin said.
Ryan replied simply,
“I’ll use it first.”
But the cousin didn’t listen.
He tried to pull the toy toward himself.
Ryan held it firmly.
For a few seconds, both of them were holding onto it.
Then suddenly—
The cousin pushed and sat on it anyway.
Ryan’s expression changed.
He didn’t shout.
He didn’t argue.
He just got up, grabbed the toy horse, and forcefully pulled it.
In the struggle, the toy lost balance.
Ryan snapped parts of it apart in anger.
The toy horse broke.
The cousin slipped and fell while sitting on it—
and got slightly hurt.
The room went silent.
Other children stopped playing and looked toward them.
The broken toy lay on the floor.
Ryan stood there, calm again.
The children’s room had a few kids playing with their gifts.
Ryan had received a rideable toy horse.
He tried it once and then stood beside it.
After a moment, his cousin, John, came over.
“I want to ride it,” John said.
Ryan replied calmly,
“I’ll use it first.”
John didn’t listen.
He went ahead and sat on the toy horse anyway.
Ryan looked at him for a second.
No argument.
No shouting.
Then—
Ryan walked forward, held the toy horse, and intentionally broke it while John was still sitting on it.
The toy snapped apart.
John lost balance and fell down, getting slightly hurt.
The room became quiet.
Other children looked at them.
The broken pieces of the toy were on the floor.
Ryan stood there, normal, as if nothing unusual had happened.
The noise from the children’s room brought a few adults inside.
They saw—
The toy horse broken on the floor.
John sitting down, slightly hurt.
Ryan standing nearby.
John’s mother quickly went to him.
“What happened?” she asked.
Some children said,
“Ryan broke it.”
John also said,
“He did it.”
His mother stood up, walked to Ryan, and slapped him.
Another aunt also stepped forward and scolded him.
At that moment, Ryan’s mother entered the room.
She immediately pulled him close and hugged him tightly.
Ryan didn’t say anything.
After a moment, Ryan’s grandfather also entered the room.
Everyone became quiet.
He looked at the scene—
The broken toy on the floor.
John standing beside his mother.
Ryan near his own mother.
Then he asked calmly,
“Ryan, why did you break the horse?”
Ryan looked at him and replied,
“It was snatched from me.”
He paused, then added simply,
“If I can’t use it, then I don’t want anyone else to use it.”
The room stayed silent.
Ryan stood still.
Ryan finished speaking.
The room was quiet for a moment.
His grandfather looked at him…
and then smiled slightly.
He didn’t say anything to the others.
He simply turned and walked out of the room.
The adults didn’t react much after that.
The situation settled on its own.
Ryan stood there, calm.
