The Man Who Never Was

Damn it! soon if im able to find another job ill make sure that i will beheaded that man before i left his company. I open my laptop and do my task for this day. Im sure that it his fault again. He really like to see his employee having a hard time on accomplishing their task and now i am sure that he really had a mental disorder. "Hey Ellie are you fine?"i look at Sabrina she seem so worried at me i nod at her and look away. "Im sure you want to kill the president again"she said and chuckles i just smirked and continue type my presentation at my laptop. "He always hit my nerves i don't know if he is really our boss to act like that you know were not always interacting with him but he always have eyes and hands to make us suffer like this!" i said with annoyance Then later on we saw a pretty girl maybe she's just teenager and just walk in front of us and enter our President Office. "He really like young women? im sure that girl gonna come out later at night i wonder what they do inside, you know we are forbidden to enter that" Sabrina said in low tone of voice i just ignore it and continue on my task the hell i care! When it times to go off i immidiately pick my things and save my data before i left my table. "Hey what you planning on weekend?" Sabrina ask i dont have any plan you know i prefer to stay at home. "None i want to stay at home beside its dangerous to go out on public places you know day by day Virus infected was increasing" i said as we enter the elevator and go to the ground floor. "Oh yeah fine! ill stay at home too"she said When i got home of course this is the personal space that ive been longing for. Having alone with myself were no one there to destroy my mood. Unlike when i was on my home damn it. I change my clothes and look at my watch. Soon to 7 pm hmm what should i cook for my dinner? Maybe ill cook some chicken and its fine. I open the Television and watch some news its important to be updated, damn this Virus no one expected it and for sure this virus can be a change of everyone's life. *Phone Ringing* "Unregistered number?" i just ignore it beside its calling on my second sim card which is for my personal use so its seem that not that important unless the caller was from sim 1 its all about work. But it continue calling until maybe 5 misscalls. I just silent my phone and go to bed. Still have an early work tommorow or else my boss gonna make me irritated again. If you gonna ask why he's doing that? well i don't know aside of he is really having a mysterious appearance like you know we are seeing him every once a month only. How comes? Yes he was always at the office but he going to work in early in the morning then leaving the office when no employees around. And the funny thing is when he show off on us he always wearing his sunglass and that face mask. For now they required that we need to wear facemask but you know even there is no Virus sh*t he wearing his facemask. Or maybe there something wrong on his face is he that ugly? but impossible when we all know here that he once get married into a model but the girl cheat and leave him. Who's not gonna cheat into a man who was always drown in work. Mr. Kaden Rewis. ( Keyden ) I always hearing his name in the office when the emloyees talking about him like they thinking when or what time that our boss will show himself. As if everyday is bluemoon. I divert myself to sleep and stop thinking that man, yeah ive been working on that company for almost 2 years but who's not gonna curious if you still not able to see the face of the person who owned the company that you working. M O R N I N G FRIDAY "Gooddd morningg worldddd!!" i shout while stretching and i saw my dog on my bed. "Goodmorning Mochi how's your sleep? you hungry?"i ask as if Mochi gonna answer me hahaha. I just take a bath and sip my coffee im not a breakfast person just a coffee will do. Im not that rich so i just commute going to office. Today is just like any normal day i hope this will continue... When i get to office i saw Sabrina on her desk and doing something. "Morning Sab"i said she smile at me and whisper goodmorning as she continue her eyes on laptop. Oh? when she become like this? really early morning? "Hey too early to be busy Sab"i said and chuckled "You dont answer my call last night again"she said pout "Oh youre the one who was calling me? i didnt know haha"i said and take a sit. "Yeah what ever! so you not able to know the update yesterday"she said so i frown. "What is it!" i said "We will having a community lockdown on the next day so its better to finish your current task and pass it immidiately"she said i just look at my laptop and i almost finish it so i grin i no need to rush. "Ellie goodmorning"i look the person who greet me i smile and stand as showing respect. "Good morning Miss Chloe"i said she smile at me and hand a envelope. "You only living at Quezon City right?"she ask i just nod. "I want you to keep this for a meantime okay gonna update you when you need to return it"she said i just nod again and look at her as she left. I look at the envelope an it is sealed. Hmm what's inside? i sigh and put the envelope on my bag. I just look at my worktask and review it. So there's gonna be a lockdown yeah its fine to stop spreading this virus. The day end smoothly and the good thing is we haven't heard from our boss maybe he is absent. "Hey Enjoy your weekend!" Sabrina said i smile and nod as i walk out of the building. Yeahhh! TGIF Thanks God Its Friday! Should i drink beer? or some tequilla? I am so excited to get home when i saw familiar person in my front. "Emmanuel?"he just smile and tap my head as he always doing. "How are you Ellie?"he ask i just smile at him and we continue walking "Still fine anyway what brought you here?"i ask he look at me and smile. "Nothing you know there was a community lockdown so im sure im not gonna see you for a months so i want to see you for now. I can't help myself but to smile widely. Actually i really like Emmanuel but you know i am shy to admit it to him. Im afraid that what if he doesnt feel the sameway and what if because of this our friendship will end? Im afraid to confess. Beside im already fine with our relation just a bestfriend and no break ups. He is also my classmate from Grade One so we was like a childhood friend. "Hey Ellie lets buy slurpee?"i smile automatically and nod at him. Yeah since High School its our past time to go on 7/11 and buy some Big bytes and Slurpee. Sometimes we prefer to eat Takoyaki. "Im planning to spend my lockdown on our house in Francisville" he said as we sat here at 7/11 Katipunan it just front of JP. Rizal"he said while sipping his Slurpee. "Oh really nice"i said and smile "Want to stay there?"he ask i laugh and look at him "I dont like what if you rape me there"i said as he pinch my nose. "Why should i rape you silly"he said and look away "Im just kidding"i said and laugh again. "So you agree?"he ask "Nope i better stay at apartment hhahaha"i said "As what i expected" he said then look away "Is there a Problem? you seem not fine" i ask "No worries im fine"he said i didn't force him to speak i know him verywell if he dont want to talk about it just let it be if he's ready to open up something he's the one who gonna open that topic. "Time apart i really have a good time"he said and pat my head again. "Let just chat okay!"i said and waved at him He was headed to Antipolo now. Its not hard to fall for him but the thing is how can i fall to my bestfriend which i know that i dont have chance. "Hey Ellie! someone leave this at your apartment door i just pick it because a lot of kids was passing im afraid that they will get it"my neighbour said so i just thank her for this. As i enter my apartment i look at the package on my hand. It was cover with a red satin cloth and inside of it was a key??? "What is this for?"i said and rolled my eyes someone tripping me? I just put the key on my Ref cover pocket. I just take a shower and go to my bed beside im still full because Emmanuel treat me a lot of food. Suddenly i stare at my ceiling and suddenly think about that keys. "Is that a key to a treasure?"i whisper and smile what am i thinking? Maybe im just too tired. I close my eyes until i doze off. ________ "Metro Manila will be lockdown this coming Monday"Said the reporter as i watching this morning news on my TV. Damn this so it really happening on Monday. Its Sunday already and im still here on my co workers house here in Taguig after i go in our house to get some of my clothes i decided to pass by here and have a small talk but its already evening i just bring the files folder to her and damn this is it can't go home coz there is no Grab Car or anything available and this lockdown sh*t is soon to be effective. "How can i go home in this state?" i hissed and look at my watch its already soon to 12 midnight! plus my baggage is a bit heavy! "Ellie i really felt bad i cant make you stay here"Dianne said i just smile at her "Its fine we both didn't expect this"i said i try to call Sabrina but she's not answering her phone maybe she's sleeping already. That sleepyhead. *Phone beeps* I look at my phone and i saw his chat, i met this man for two times already and i find him a good person besides he's not that intimidating. Him: Lockdown Sucks! how are you? Me: Hi! im good still stranded on my workmates house here in Taguig. Him: You can't go home? Me: Well can't find a grab :'( and i don't think i can get out of Taguig since its already lockdown my apartment is on Quezon City but i still don't have an ID residing there so i don't think i can enter the QC. Him: Where are you again? In Taguig right? im here at Taguig if you don't mind you are welcome to stay here Me: Oh? hey its a bother im fine i can ask someone don't worry. Him: Just accept my help please Should i agree? is it really fine to stay at his place? But i don't have choice seems i can't stay here and its already f*****g midnight i also don't have enough money since i left my card at home an just bring exact. Great this is really greaat!!!! Damn it. Him: Send me your place exact address im gonna pick you up immidiately So i send him my exact location and maybe 10 minutes he was already at my front. "Hey!"its him "Hi" i said and look down. "Hop in!"he said and smile again. As i enter his car he looks so handsome at this state yeah even he was older than me i can still see him young, well maybe he was good at taking care of his self. "Your condo have a restriction how can i enter that?"i suddenly ask he just look at me "Trust me you can enter using the basement so no need to worry okay?"he said so i nod and look at my front. I hope its gonna be okay. How's Mochi? I chat my neigbour to take care of Mochi for the meantime. I look at him while driving, this man have something that captured my attention and you know its hard to tell who was good or bad right? but while im talking to this man i really feel safe and im having fun with him like i know hik for the long time And to admit i like him... Just a little bit. "We are here"he said as he remove his seatbelt so i was about to get my bag when he speak. "Leave it there im gonna carry that"he said again i just nod again and go out of the car. We are walking somewhere here and we enter a elevator and it goes to the basement. "We can't enter the lobby so this is more easier beside i talk to one of the guards and he agree to it and settle some"he said so i just smile again i really feel shy at him. Its not that im not comfortable it just maybe you know what a typical mind thinking... "Welcome home"he said as he point the way inside his unit i just smile and walk inside this place was so good! even the furniture is all nice "Wow this place is good"i said and immidiately go to the balcony its already midnight so from here you reallg can feel the cold air. "You like it here?"he ask i just nod and continue to view the other building. "Hope you are hungry im going to prepare a food"he said and left already. I just remain at the balcony and pull the chair there and sit. This i what i want, peaceful surroundings. Hope i can have a place like this maybe my hardwork still not enough i should be more hardworking. More minutes passed the air is really getting cold im afraid to get caught colds so i go inside and i saw him at the kitchen cooking. "What's that?"i ask "Chicken Kebabs"he said as he continue putting the meat on the pan. He really seem like to cook a lot based on his kitchen all kitchenware was there. "If you getting bored you can watch on the TV"he said so i look at the sala and saw a huge television there! "Can i open this?"i said as i point out the flatscreen TV. He nods but instead going back on cooking he just go to open the television as he gave me the remote and told me how to use it. "Thank you"i said and smile This man i really something he is not the other guy i know who just making you uncomfortable by their sudden move or gaze. I can sense his good intention. More minutes passed as i watch some Vlogs on Youtube since the tv is connected on the internet. "Food is ready wanna eat?"he said i immidiately nod coz i really feel hungry na since its already 1:30 am he doesn't have a dining table but he have a small table in front of the Tv where its also in front of the couch. "Wow looks so yummy"i said as i get a piece of it and take a bite. This is so yummyyy! "So is it good?"he ask "Yes! i like it"i said and smile i just continue eating it until i feel full. We just have a small talk about some things around us like we getting to know more each other. "You know im really glad that you accept my offer i feel that you trust me a lot"he said and smile at me again, i admire his eyes. To describe him he looks handsome with his long and thick eyelashes even his eyebrow is thick too plus his lips is not that big but not that small i think he is good in kissing hehe. I admit that im really attracted to him. "I feel comfortable around you that's why, its really rare that i can easily get comfortable to a guy"i said and look at him I feel that his eyes have something like its also talking to me. "Oh i feel great because of that"he said and drink his juice. "Yeah you should be"i said and laugh. We just continue like that until we decided to drink some beer. "This lockdown was until the end of the month so you gonna stay here until the lockdown is not lift up"he said and smile we are here now at the balcony. Yeah drinking at 3 am at the balcony is the best!! " Are you sure its really fine that i stay here?"i ask again then he look at me and go near on my face. "Yep its really really fine"he said until... Wait did he just kiss me??? "I only apologize because i dont ask your permission, but that kiss? i really cant help it"he said and chuckled. OMG. I just stare at him while he drink his beer and look at his phone. Why i feel like it??? My goodness Ellie!!! This is not you! Only your boyfriend can kiss you! But its been a years since i kissed someone. Is it fine? even he's not my boyfriend? Well nobody knows. "Ms.Ellie staring is rude unless we both naked" he said "Huh? what?" i feel blank. "Nothing little girl"he said and chuckled again. He really like to chuckle seductively ah!! "Im not a little girl"i said and pout. "You are look at you" he said again and smile,i just rolled my eyes and stand up but i feel dizzy. "Just two bottle someone already drunk"he said " Im just dizzy okay" i said and try to walk to the bathroom coz i need to pee. "Hahaha you cant even walk let me guide you"he said as he hold my arm and my waist. "Here is the bathroom little girl"he just continue teasing me i just chuckled and immidiately enter the bathroom and do what i need to do. Now im thinking that im gonna enjoy my stay here. I will...
