"Miss Aera, it's almost time for you to go to school."
"Hng, OK thank you.." I said as I woke up.
I got up from bed and walked to the bathroom connected to my room. I looked in the mirror and saw my pure silver eyes. Honestly, I look great with it. I looked at my wrist, six full small dots. The indication of what gender and number of soulmates you have. If it's just an outline of the circle, it's female. If it's a full small dot, it's male.
A soulmate here means they are your destined partner, your future love..bullshxt! I've already decided not to waste my time on my mean mates. My gorgeous, smart and sexy self can't take it!

"Aera, you have a shooting at xxx later right?" My best friend Charmine asked.
"Yup, I'm quite excited since I'm portrayed as a dead girl."
"Woah, will you be using special effects makeup then? Don't you hate makeup? Haha" Lorelei, my other bestfriend giggled.
"I will, but at least it's for a purpose."
*bell rings*
"See you tomorrow, Aera. Wish you luck!" They waved as we separated.
I walked down to the university. The university I go to has a Junior Department. I saw my manager and his car. We drove to the site. We were filming at night. I go out of my dressing room fully clothed. I certainly look ugly and scary.
Everyone was busy and, since it wasn't my scene yet, I went for a breather. I didn't walk far, just to the bench in the front.
I took out my phone and checked what time it was, 8:30 pm. I heard a car pulling up. When I didn't hear it leave, I looked up.
A black Mercedes Benz. The windows are heavily tinted. It rolled down slightly, his green eyes suddenly glowed blue.
I removed my contacts earlier, so my eyes turned blue as well and were very visible. I was ecstatic, my soulmate!
I literally just took one step and the car drove off.
'Weird', I thought.
"Rene! It's almost your shot." My manager called me.
"Coming!"
I got home that night and my family was happy for me. When I woke up, I washed my face just to see my eyes pure silver. If I had just been rejected by one, it would have been green with a little silver, but no, pure silver.
To reject your soulmate, you have to know their whole name. I've only ever used my stage name, but never my whole or real one!
They must have a good stack of cash if they want to find out who I am. My father made sure no one would be able to find out for privacy purposes.
My school and best friends do, but when it comes to my school, my dad has my files. Well, he is rich enough to do it.
While my best friends don't address me by my second name.
I've been rejected...
Is it because of the makeup?
Do they have a reason?
.
.
.
THE REASON THEY HAVE IS THAT THEY ARE A TOTAL DXCKWAD AND DESERVE TO NOT SPREAD THEIR STUPID GENES ANYMORE!! FXCK YOU, STUPID SOULMATES!!
Today I, Aera Irene Whitfield, have been rejected by who knows who because of who knows why!
I ran down the flight of stairs and told my family about it. My parents were shocked but just rubbed my back saying it was OK. All of my siblings were blessed to have their own mates. It was rare enough, but I think maybe it's in our genes.
My great grandfather from my father's side was switched from birth. He had a moon-shaped birthmark on the back of his neck. My late grandfather had one, as well as my father and three of my siblings.
What was weird is that I have one too, but mine is a sun. We thought maybe it was because I was a girl but my sister had a moon.
It was said it was proof you were part of a lineage that we didn't know of. No one found out why mine was a sun though.
My father and mother don't have any mates but they found each other. My two brothers are going to share a girl soulmate and my younger sister has 1 boy soulmate.
I was blessed with six guys... If you could even call it blessed now.
-present time-
I wear special contacts every day. I would recognize who my soulmate is but they won't be able to know that because of the contact.
I will still have pure silver eyes even if I meet them anyway. Not like I care about them anymore.
At first, many ridiculed me for being rejected, but I proved myself worthy and it wasn't my fault I got rejected in the first place. I mean who rejects their soulmate before even knowing them?? Mine, of course.
I'm a top student at my university. I study business since my grandmother wants me to inherit her multimillion-dollar company. It's a top-of-the-line makeup company. I'm spoiled by my parents, but I don't push it. I know my limits and what's right from wrong. The people who I aspire NOT to be are my "soulmates"
After breakfast, I wore my private university uniform for college students. A black uniform means you are from the college department. I wore the pocket watch my late great-grandfather gave me. I managed to meet him when he was 98 years old.
I kissed my parents goodbye and headed to school.
It was pretty boring, not gonna lie. I had classes only before lunch. My manager, Seth, picked me up and we went to our agency.
"Rene, you have a new acting role."
Even though he knows my real name, he calls me René just in case.
"Oh? What is it this time?"
I'll be blunt, I'm a popular actress, so if I get roles without having to audition, it's from an important or promising company. Although I prefer it if I have to audition for the role. It gives me more of a sense of accomplishment that way.
"It's called, My Love, don't leave me. It's a romantic story set in the late 19th century about a beautiful young woman who falls in love with a slightly older man . . . . ." he explained the story.
" Ok, so what role am I?"
"The main girl."
"Got it, and who am I acting with? "
"Lykos Stoll, your ex-boyfriend."
"Ugh, you just had to pick that one.."
He's such a cocky bxstard. The main reason why I left him was also that he wanted more than just a few kisses on the cheek which I didn't even like him to the point I'd do that. But an actress acts even with those who she hates..
