"You did well by coming straight to me," Mr.Ballard said to me, as he patted my shoulder.
"The threat has been neutralized, I request that you all head to your homes and stay indoors, the warriors will be patrolling the perimeters so please be rest assured that you are safe here" he addressed the pack members.
"What if they come back" a voice asked from the crowd, murmurs of agreement could be heard from the crowd.
"Be rest assured, they will not be able to," he replied in a firm tone.
"Rogues are scavengers and tonight we have proved to them just how strong we are," he added.
The Alpha's reply seems to have quelled the tension as everyone returned to their homes.
