"Do you want to sleep a little more?" Emelda asked, I shook my head not wanting to close my eyes.
Every moment I shut my eyes, I was plagued with the same scene, it was like a loop I couldn't get out of.
"I'm going to go check up on Alex" I called out from the bathroom as I freshened up, my eyes had dark circles, and I looked like a zombie.
I made my way to the clinic, the atmosphere around the pack was tense as everyone talked in low murmurs, all clearly affected by the events of the night.
"Good morning, is Alex awake yet?" I asked the nurse as I walked into the clinic.
"You must be Rose, he has been expecting you," she said with a gentle smile on her face as she led me to his room.
"Princess" Alex exclaimed as he noticed me by the door. His shoulder was wrapped in a gauze.
