Phoenix hit the send button and transferred the money for Grace’s rental. Like almost every transaction she had these days, paying for the movie star’s getaway was all done on her phone. Quick. Easy. And the answer to her dilemma.
Ever since Grace’s friend, Faye, had set her the task of finding a secret getaway to hold Grace’s surprise birthday party, the pressure was on. Phoenix was a doer who had a hard time saying no to the requests of any of their above the line talent. Especially Grace, or her friends apparently.
Phoenix had never been enlisted on such a personal level by anyone like Faye. Wealthy beyond belief, beautiful, commanding, unapologetic, in a way Phoenix found her intriguing. She didn’t seem like the kind of woman who liked being disappointed.
