By the time Grace arrived at the Hill House getaway night had fallen. The deep jungle surroundings were thick with chirping night insects and much darker than the wide open night skies of the beach. Grace found the deep, damp night rather peaceful. And it was certainly far from the prying eyes of absolutely anyone, which was her highest priority.
The plan had been for her to arrive sooner in the day.
