Chapter 1
"Within a month after you regularly consume herbal medicine mixed with my heirloom white blood, you will recover. I've prepared a month's supply and in the future you can just take it regularly. The servant will prepare it every day," said a beautiful woman who was checking the pulse of the middle-aged woman on the bed.
The middle-aged woman smiled, grasping her son-in-law's hand gently before saying.
"Thank you for your help, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been here in the first place. I'm almost healed, thanks to your kindness and help, Aurelia." The woman said sincerely making her daughter-in-law smile.
Aurelia Fradesca, she was a Luna and this woman was her mother-in-law. Exposed to the white diamond poison, Hana, aka her mother-in-law, lay sick for years. She only started to be able to leave the bed after Aurelia treated her for almost 1 year. Because Aurelia does have the ability to treat someone and she also has an heirloom inside her, namely pure white blood that can treat various kinds of hard diseases.
"Mommy is cured?" A man's voice was heard making Aurelia and Hana, the man's mother turn their heads.
"Herry ... Come here," Hana said with her happy face clearly visible.
Herry walked over, he looked at his mother's face which already looked better and no longer pale. He looked at Aurelia's face who was already smiling at him, as she approached and hugged his arm.
"Mom will finally get better, I'm very calm. Make sure your servant really helps her take the medicine I prepared earlier in the future. So that all the poison is completely drained out," Aurelia said, causing Herry to nod silently.
Aurelia knew that it was rare that this man would talk, apart from the fact that he had quite a lot to do as the supreme leader of the Werewolf White clan. They were a group of white-furred wolves who were the strongest in the Wolf clan. So far no one had dared to step on their pride, as the other clans were subject to Herry's rule.
However, Aurelia didn't understand why Herry didn't want to talk to her either. After so much struggle, Herry still seemed to treat her like an ordinary person, who didn't matter at all. She wanted to ask him about it, but fear attacked her heart. She was afraid that her thoughts that had only been in her head were actually proven, even though from Herry's attitude and behavior he had never shown any love at all.
"You've sacrificed a lot of strength and energy for mom, go rest, dear." Hana said making Aurelie nod.
She looked at her husband's face who looked silent, as if he had no intention of escorting her to her room.
"Do you still want to be here, Alpha?" Aurelia asked softly making Herry nod.
"I want to talk to mom for a while, you can go to the room first and I'll catch up with you later."
Aurelia looked at Herry's face, trying to penetrate his mind but couldn't because Herry seemed to deliberately cover his thoughts so that they couldn't be read by her. That made her nod later, then say goodbye to them and walk away. There was a servant who had always followed her since she became Herry's wife, an omega woman of the same age, who had always been her companion when Herry was busy with his own world.
"Even when I saved his mother's life, sacrificing a lot of my body's power and pure energy, he didn't thank me or say any nice words to me like a husband. Don't I deserve it, Zena?"
Aurelia's question when she arrived in the room made Zena, her servant, immediately kneel behind Aurelie's body who was staring at the front and back of her.
"I dare not say more, Your Highness Luna. I'm not fit to talk about the nature of Her Highness Alpha," Zena replied in a trembling voice that made Aurelie catch her breath.
She is here alone, she came here to marry Herry alone. All of them were subordinates and followers of the man who became her husband, so no one would side with her completely.
They were clearly more obedient to the clan leader's orders than she was, which was even more like being Luna without being wanted. Aurelia had spent a year trying to serve and be a good wife to Herry, while trying to treat her mother-in-law well.
But she had never received any warm and gentle treatment from her husband. She didn't know where she went wrong, she never offended Herry at all and tried to make him comfortable with her presence.
Squeezing her hand, Aurelia felt worried herself. What if she really wasn't wanted by him?
What if her thoughts about all that were really going to happen?
"No way... He wouldn't have looked for me all the way to the end of the country if he didn't want me. I'm sure he must have a problem," Aurelia muttered before she finally turned her head towards the door when someone came in. "Herry ..." she greeted with a smile.
Meanwhile Zena was seen bowing politely on her knees, until Herry asked her to simply leave the room and left he with Aurelia who was already smiling and walking towards him.
"No need to touch me."
For the first time, Herry had only spoken in such a harsh tone to her after a year of marriage. Aurelia looked at Herry's face with a slightly complicated gaze, she still tried to think positively while taking one step closer to the man.
"What's wrong with you? If there's really something you're thinking about you can tell me, so I can find a solution with you."
Herry looked at her with a flat face that looked so haughty, making Aurelia stunned at that face because she had never seen it so far.
"My mother has recovered and I will move her to the castle at the top of the Holy mountain. You ... Pack your things." Herry said flatly, making Aurelie frown.
"Huh? Pack up your things? Where are you going? Are you going to take me away as a reward for curing your mother?" asked Aurelia with an excited look on her face.
Herry snorted coldly. "Don't be so confident," he said flatly, making Aurelie clamp her mouth shut. "I no longer need you as a Luna, so I will send you back to the end of the country. I made you Luna too just to heal mom, now I don't need you anymore because mom is cured. Consider us divorced, I don't need your help anymore. Pack your things immediately, this relationship is over and we are no longer husband and wife."
Aurelia's face was so shocked at his words, she didn't expect at all that it would come out of Herry's mouth. What exactly was going on?
"You're-you're ... Are you kidding me?" she asked in a voice trembling with tightness. "You're joking, right?!"
"No," he retorted, looking at her sharply. "I don't love you at all, I don't want to keep you here. So leave, never show your face in front of me again."
