Who is he?

Cassian: Worry crept into my mind like a shadow at dusk, slowly engulfing my thoughts in a shroud of unease. The weight of 'What if she never talks to me again?' settled heavily on my shoulders. “She is the best person you've ever had in your life, but you f*****g ruined everything!“ An anxious whisper danced in my mind. Vivid scenarios of what could happen the next day painted themselves in my mind, each more daunting than the last. “Will the sun rise?“ I asked myself while pouring for myself the sixth cup of coffee since I left the restaurant. Walking to the ceiling to floor windows, I looked out, my gaze stuck at the far end hills where the sun normally rose from. As the night deepened, my heartbeat quickened, a drum of fear echoing in my chest. What I had done was not only wrong but selfish of me. I picked up my phone from the coffee table and tried Sarah's number again, but it quickly jumped into voice mail. “I hate you, wolf!“ I screamed, throwing my phone against the wall and imagining it was him as I watched it crush on the floor, turning into a million pieces. If I hadn't agreed to his stupidity challenge that night, if I had asked him to f**k off like what my head wanted, nothing like this wouldn't have happened. I wouldn't have ruined the relationship between me and Sarah by asking her out just to prove myself wrong. Grabbing my spare phone, I dialed a number I had saved on the speed dial. The person on the other end accepted after one ring. “Did you get what I asked you to?“ I asked, skipping the salutations and not minding the fact that it was already past midnight and he must be sleeping. “Uh, Cassian,” he called, his voice groggy with sleep, “not yet. It's f*****g hard to find him. Are you sure he exists?“ He asked. “How could I have asked you to find someone for me if they didn't exist?“ I hissed. “It's hard to...” his voice trailed as I cut him off. “I f*****g don't care, Ethan!“ I yelled. “I paid you to look for him, and you'll f*****g do that! Do you need more money? I'll double that. Money ain't a problem to me.“ He drew in a deep breath. “Money isn't the issue here, Cassian. If you could give me more details about this person, like his name, where he comes from, or at least what he does, I would easily find him. A drawn picture of him on a piece of paper won't help!“ “Ugh, whatever!“ I screamed, throwing away the only piece of phone left with me. How the hell will I know his name? I don't know it; I never asked. He never even gave me the chance to ask that. He disappeared after milking my d**k off! The only thing I was left of him was how he looked and his scent. “s**t!“ I cursed and ran to the phone I had thrown away. Squatting to pick it, I kissed it multiple times after observing it hadn't cracked anywhere, and quickly calling Ethan, I revealed, “He has a masculine woody tobacco scent. It makes you want to hungrily inhale it, forever." Ethan remained silent. I was about to yell at him, wanting to ask if he had heard, but I quickly hung up, knowing how weird that sounded. Giving up, I set my phone aside, careful not to destroy it, and laid back onto my bed, waiting for the never-reaching dawn. Funny enough, morning arrived as soon as I didn't expect it. Skipping all my slow morning routines, I hurried to the clinic, where I hoped to see Sarah. “Good morning, Sarah!“ I waved at her when we bumped at the gate. “Who is he?“ She asked instead of responding to my greeting. Looking behind me, thinking someone had followed me, I knitted my brows together, “What do you mean by who is he?“ She clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes in annoyance. “The guy who took you away from me?“ I almost spit out my tongue. “What the he..how the f**k did you know it's a guy?“ I asked but lowered my voice at the last part. “So it's a guy.“ She crossed her hands under bed boobs and rolled her shoulders backwards. “I..how?“ I asked. She sighed, “Cassian, do you take me as a fool?“ “W-what? Why would I do that?“ At this point, I was confused. How did she know it's a guy who got me laid back like that, and for how long? Could it be I drunkenly spilled my confusion out to her? On a drunken night? “You don't need to know when I knew that.“ She dismissively waved her hand and then walked closer to me and asked, “The question is, for how long will you keep on running away from your true self? How many hearts will you break while trying to prove yourself wrong?“ I looked down at my toes, her words hitting me. “I forgive you for what you did, even though it hurts.“ I opened my mouth, ready to thank her, but she pressed her index finger on her pursed lips. “Not so quick. If you are yet to figure yourself out, even though I expect you to by now, go inside your goddamned office and come out all figured out!" “What has my office got to do with me figuring myself out?“ I chuckled while scratching the back of my head to a place that never itched at all. “I have a present in your break room, i***t. Now get in there!“ Dragging me towards it, she pushed me inside and locked the door behind me. “It's definitely a cup of coffee.“ I shook my head while laughing. “I don't know how it will help in figuring myself out, but I need it.“ Before falling asleep, I tossed and turned almost the whole night as if my bed were invaded by the ants of the entire world. Although I finally managed to fall into slumber land, that was only for three hours. I kept on having nightmares of how Sarah would chop me for using her like that, but she easily forgave me. “I am not only surrounded by kind people, but they are understanding too.“ I ran my fingers through my hair and did a smooth, happy dance. “Now time for coffee!“ I whistled while stepping into my office bedroom, but the smile on my face dropped. The coffee Sarah enthusiastically talked about wasn't coffee. “Hello, handsome!“ The guy sitting on my bed with only a piece of fabric covering his front shot a gummy smile at my shaking me. Where the hell did she find him? I asked myself while pinching my thighs to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but the jolt of pain that shot through my body confirmed I was indeed living in reality…
