I saw the look on Nicki’s face, and I couldn't quite place what it was. Curiosity? Annoyance? Jealousy?

"Go on, Damon. Just tell the truth," Zach encouraged, watching him closely.
Damon exhaled sharply, pressing his lips together like he was debating something.
