Chapter Thirteen
I'm more grateful than I want to admit that Thomas agreed to meet with me in his office. After our kiss, he's been avoiding me as much as possible. I understand why, it's all I can think about when I see him, I can imagine it's the same the other way around too.
I check either end of the corridor, wanting to make sure there aren't any other students around. It's best if we don't advertise the fact we're alone in here. Certain no one is watching me, I slip inside.
Thomas has me in his arms moments later, pulling me close and kissing me deeply.
Ah, so it isn't just the promise of a counter curse that had him agree to meet me. I lean into the kiss, accepting everything he wants to give me, and sending all the feelings I have for him right back.
