Christopher’s POV
Time goes by but nothing really change. I woke up, took a shower, my dad came to tell me we had a meeting, I took a coffee and now it feels like I’ve been listening to this minister for hours even though it wasn’t thirty minutes ago that the meeting began. Mase and Logan are playing games on their phone. Half of my dads are almost sleeping while the other half are politely nodding. I wish I could just get out of…
My phone rang in my pocket. The perfect reason to quit this meeting but as soon as I saw the name on the screen I knew everything was going down to hell.
“I’m sorry minister but we have an emergency to deal with. We’ll keep in touch.”
My dad ended the call with the minister and stood up. Logan texted the Betas along with my other brothers and everyone stood around me. The phone ran again and this time I answer.
“Savie. It’s me. You good? You’re on speaker”
“It’s not good Chris. It’s horrible but Its not what we thought it was.”
“Savie Its William” my father says. “What do you mean it’s not what we thought it was?”
“My King. It’s not a shifter prison. It’s a prison with a single prisoner. They call her princess but they also said she never had a name. My king she’s locked up in the basement where men go for whatever they want.”
“Can you get her out?” Mase asks.
“Hi Mason. No not alone. There is to many of them. I can’t get her out.”
“Okay Savie you stay safe we’re coming. Send us all the details you can manage and we’ll assemble a rescue team.”
“My kings, my prince you gotta act fast. They’re planning on moving.”
“Okay Savie we’re coming as soon as possible.”
As soon as we ended thee call my brothers called a team of warriors we had here. The hunters base was not far from our pack. Barely an hour drive but we needed more people. My dad, William, looked at me.
“Son I can’t go on this one. I need to get back to the minister but I know you can handle this. This is your mission. Bring them home.”
As soon as he said so I left with Logan and Mason to meet our warriors with two of the kings betas. We all met in the driveway where my other brothers joined us. Jensen and Mika came to us from training while Ryan and Damon were coming from the orphanage. Mase had assemble a team of twenty warriors. I sent Liam, Ethan, Jayden, Mark and Connor to get the SUV while Kyle, Wyatt and Charles went to get weapons. Mase, Logan and I took out a map to find the easiest way to get there and take them by surprise. As soon as all the others came back we were ready. We piled up in the cars and hit the road. It’s then I received the text from Savie
“Twenty man. Sylver and wolfbane. The girl in the basement. Ten of the man are packing while the other ten are on watch duty. Two up front two in the back Two east and two west of the building. Two are inside watching the basement door.”
I called all the other team on a conference call and shared the information. We were more but only seven of us were immune to sylver witch means that my brothers and I would take the lead. The Betas didn’t like the plan but it was my plan and my mission.
Now while Mase was driving our car I needed to relax. My wolf was going crazy in my head.
“Mase you got a smoke for me”.
“Sure I thought you quit?”
“Well I’ll have one now.”
I took the smoke he handed me and lit it up. I closed my eyes and forced myself to relax. My wolf was so rarely reactive I didn’t know what was going on. I wish I could talk to him but he put up a wall.

Logan’s POV
As soon as we arrived my wolf went crazy. He was restless which I found unusual because he’s usually very calm in the face of a battle. My wolf is bloodthirsty and love a good kill but he’s also profoundly good so he would only kill bad people. Which made me the perfect head warrior.
This time I didn’t understand his reactions. It’s like he knew something I didn’t and I found that stressful. Chris decided that Him, Mika and I would take the front door with five warriors while the rest of our team would take down the people outside. As soon as Mason got the two hunter in front of the house to fight him we were heading for the door. I went in first and was surprised by two hunters coming out with boxes. The good thing was they were surprised too so we had the advantage. Chris took one while I took the other and they didn’t even had the time to yell so nobody knew we were there yet. I went to the left while Mika went down the hall and Chris went to the right. As soon as I got in the kitchen, I went face to face with two hunters. I thought I’d get a good fight but as soon as I throw the first punch to the first guy one of my warriors was beside me attacking the second one. They both went down easily.
It took us less than half an hour to take everyone in the house down. Chris had found Savie in the living room and now we were ready to get to the basement. But as soon as Savie open the door all hell broke loose. She was out of the way in a second. Chris was leading the way downstairs, but all my brothers and I were following.
As soon as the smell hit my nose my wolf took control of my body. He didn’t shift but he was growling and snarling and suddenly I understood his restlessness. As wolf we all grew up learning how it would be to find our mate. The smell, the tingles, the feelings and our wolves’ reaction. But no one prepared me to find my mate in the basement of a hunter base. No one prepared me to the hell I found My mate in.
As soon as Chris opened the light of his phone and light up the room we saw a naked little girl, tied up to the wall, head hanging low, visibly unconscious and my heart broke in my chest. I fell to my knees pleading the moon goddess to let me be in time to save my mate. Chris and Mika were unlocking the chains with the keys Savie had gotten. As soon as she was freed she was falling to the floor but Chris caught her before she hit the floor.
“Chris? Is she…” It was Ryan speaking and I realized I wasn’t the only one down on my knees.
“She’s alive. I can feel her. But she’s slipping away we gotta go fast” Jensen said. I was grateful, not for the first time, for Jensen’s gift. But it was time to make sure our mate would live.
