Vol 1 , Chapter three
Starting that day I never started a talk about names again , Cause I know even without a name I can survive if I was with my mom.
Days passed and my wings became strong, My feathers are now visible and my beak is now strong as of for my claws , they're still short and can't harm any life , I think.
But the thing that Im wondering is that why is my feather color is black in color while mom is Soft looking blue? And why my mom's name is "Snow" while her feather is like the clear sky?
Oh, I forgot no names hehe The only thing my mom and I are alike is the eyes the cute looking beautiful eyes .
*blinks eyes*
This day is quite special for me. Cuz this day my mom finally said that she will teach me how to fly.
So I woke up early to prepare my self.
"Mom, Im ready!" I said while waking up Mom.
"Ahh" Mom stretching her wings.
" Ok, son ill teach you while searching for food."
"Do we have to go down to this gigantic tree first?"
"Well, of course you will be dead if you fall here"
Yes, mom will carry me again this is the best!( wait I think I became a mama's boy).
Mom grabs my body with her feet with sharp yet soft claws , and when her feet skin touches my back , My fears are all gone I just know that no matter what happens Im safe in this soft sharp claws of her.
"Son, be ready were taking off"
"Im just waiting for your move mother"
"Ha ha that's my son always ready"
"Ok will now taking off" As we go dive down to the tree I saw some slimy caterpillars crawling in the Huge tree bark. ( The one kind I eat while mother is with snake.)
"Mom, look food" "What? , where?
"There over there on the bark near the huge hole in the bark"
" Son, what ever it takes don't eat that caterpillars!"
Opps, I think I eat on of that back in the day I crash to the big snake. Better not told her about it.
"Why not?"
Do he really thinks that is a food? The sacred caterpillar can kill a monster if consumed. Hais, better told him before he try to eat those.
"Son, eating those might kill you"
"what! whaat , whaaat"
Why would my mom lie to me? If the caterpillars really can kill a bird then, why am I still alive?
" How can It kill me ? Mom"
" That caterpillars are called sacred caterpillars they are blessed by the world tree with energy that can help the tree to live longer. Its like the tree is giving them an power for her own good. And eating those might kill someone because of the huge energy in the caterpillar body." Mom said in a lovely way.
"But it looks so tasty"
" Ha ha , son we have the same eyes . But the world tree might be angry to us so don't try to eat it. Aside from It can kill , A Godly tree might be angry to us."
"Wait, Godly tree?"
We arrive at the roots of the tree.
"Ill answer your questions when you learn to fly son so , you had to train hard ."
"Well , Now that I hear that I don't think I want the answer to my questions . Hehe"
"Haha, Son don't mess with me" Mom said while angry but still looks cute.
"Ok, guide me first before you search for food, Mom"
"Ok, Ok First follow me" Mom's spread her wings and flap it slowly and gracefully.
"Is flying really like that , Mom. Its so slow you know"
"Just follow what Im doing , No other Questions"
"Ok"
I think mom was now pissed . Better not fan the flames hehehe.
"Ok , Now Im gonna search for food. If I came back and you still don't know how to fly then I won't feed you. No ill cut half of your food!"
In the end mom still can't let me starve.
"Ok , I got It"
Better train hard, so that I can be a bird mom can be proud of. I repeat the moves that mom show me. Its easy to familiarize cuz of mom's graceful moves stuck in my brain.
And Hour passed I try to fly on my own. Spreading my Wings and following the moves mom shows me . I even follow her breathing to make sure I can fly. But due to fear Because of first time flying alone , I close my eyes while following the movement of the wings and the breathing , In just a minute I feel like Im lighter . Its like Im floating, No its like Im flying!
Finally, My Mom will be proud for sure. While smiling like a joker . Mom's voice reached me out.
"So, are you ready to fly alone?" Mom asked me Its like she's near my back , Its time to show my beloved mother how I learn to fly in 1 hour.
"Yes , Mom watch me !"
" Well , ok "
Its like some heavy in my back was realesed. Wait , Im falling!!
"Mom , helps" I shouted while opening my eyes.
Mom was flying at my top. So she's holding me and I didn't really learn how to fly . Damn.
" Haha, Son I thought you learn to fly in 1 hour. Hahaha"
" Mom! how did you be so fast in gathering the food".
"Ah that. I dicided to teach you to fly first so that you can search for our food."
"What? Mom How can I even do that we will starve to death!"
"Well, that's why you has to learn to fly immediately , So we won't starve. haha" "What! Huhhhhuhhh huuh"
" Learn fast son Im starving."
And so I train really hard that day and we end up eating breakfast at night. hehe ( How's my Mother's teaching style? Cruel right? But still beautifully cruel ).
Atleast we eaten even its late .
