“Luke is back,” Charlotte said as she walked into the kitchen in a pair of sweats. “Your mom just called. She’s not coming this morning.”
As Marcus waited for his toast to pop up, Reine was sipping her mug of coffee, sitting on a stool beside Eva, who was eating cereal. Cameron had already jumped down and was running for the stairs.
“So is that why you’re not dressed?” he said. “Or are you showing up at the station in sweats today?”
