HIROMI

Chapter 6

Hiromi and Hanzo are still riding a white horse. It took them more than a week to travel this distance.

Until they arrived in the Gushiken province, the people who lived there welcomed them with open arms. When Lord Haruto learned that his daughter and Hanzo had arrived, he rushed to see them. Hiromi's father exhaled a sigh of relief when he saw her. The young mistress and the shinobi drew everyone's attention.

The Emperor calls the eastern part of Oshiro the Province of Gushiken. Lord Haruto Gushiken, Hiromi's father, ruled here and was given the emperor's authority to govern the place. Lord Haruto, Hiromi, and Hanzo share Ninomaru Palace with soldiers, samurais, and servants.

The Ninomaru palace was the residence of the shogun. Here, the floors squeak as extra protection against assassins.

Hiromi and Hanzo toured throughout Gushiken province with her father and his soldiers. She can see that it was copious in various plants and fruit trees. Their area is also numerous in fish, so there are fishermen.

Until Hiromi's flashbacks happened in the game, she had to stick in the palace to save the emperor in the game, but she changed the game's fate, and she did not follow it.

Hiromi envisioned that the course of her life in this world might also change. She recalled from the game that she had to choose a place. She decided on the palace in her game, despite her decision.

Hiromi came to her senses when Hanzo asked her if she was okay. Does she feel bad? Is there a problem? What's bothering her?

So Lord Haruto advised Hiromi to rest. Hanzo was curious as to what her profound thoughts were.

When Lord Haruto and Hiromi left with the soldiers, he suddenly thought of something that could trouble the mind of the young mistress.

After sleeping, Hiromi got up and went outside. She was observing the surroundings while admiring the lovely flowers in front of the palace.

As Lord Haruto enters, he talks to Hiromi. She met one of her father's potential female servants.

When she saw Hiromi, the female servant grinned as if she were delighted to see the shogun's daughter.

Yumi Tadashea, who is Twenty-one years old, introduced herself to Hiromi and stated, "Young mistress, it is an honor to be able to serve you.”

She remembered Yumi as one of the characters from her game.

Hiromi gradually gets to know each character she had previously only seen on her cellphone.

The game's characters include Prince Haru Osamu, Emperor Guo Osamu, Lord Haruto Gushiken, and Yumi Tadashea, starting with Hanzo's foster mother, Hanzo Masaru.

Hiromi gradually realizes what kind of life the game's characters have as she travels back in time.

Hiromi walks with her female servant Yumi to a seashore.

"Young mistress, what are we doing here? We're at the end of the seashore," Yumi wondered.

"Do you think, Yumi, that there is someone on the farthest island that is no longer under Oshiro's control?" Hiromi replied.

Yumi took a look at what Hiromi was pointing to.

"Young mistress, Lord Haru forbids from going to that island. Because the people here in Gushiken say that someone is taking souls there!"

Hiromi laughed at what her servant Yumi said. She said she doesn't believe the folk stories because they are fiction. Hiromi looked at that island to see what was there.

Hanzo arrives and tells Yumi he can talk to the young mistress, just the two of them. Yumi looked at Hiromi and then said she could leave first because she and Hanzo were just going to talk about something.

After Yumi had gone, Hanzo immediately told her about the first prince and how she had cured him. Thanks to the herbal plant she had given him.

According to Hiromi, it's good if the first prince's condition is good, but she doesn't care about that matter anymore.

Hanzo says that this is not about the first prince. But the herbal plant she gave is now the talk of the entire palace.

She immediately looked at his face. It means the emperor did not comply with her request to keep it a secret so there would be no trouble.

Hiromi thought that the first prince already knew that it was from her. The first prince might even believe that she is the reason why he is alive. In Hiromi's mind, she did nothing because Hanzo saved the first prince, and the herbal plant did not come from her but from Hanzo's mother.

Hiromi held her breath. She tells Hanzo that she doesn't care that the first prince learns about it and that Oshiro Palace talks about it.

"Young mistress, it was not the emperor who told the prince. And they did not say that the herbal plant came from you. They claimed it was the princess who was said to be married to the first prince," She was surprised by his words.

Hiromi is happy that the first prince will marry quickly into a royal family. She said it would be good if someone else claimed the herbal plant instead of her. It's not about her anymore, so it's good.

Hanzo spoke, "Young mistress, I know that you know that my mother gave you that herb. Then you won't do anything?"

Hiromi looked at Hanzo and replied, "I understand your point that your mother entrusted this to me, but I have the right to do what I want with what she gave me. What I don't understand about your point is why I need to do anything. It's useless. What for? Show off to the emperor and the first prince?"

"Young mistress, I will not allow anyone to take what is not theirs! The emperor knew this, but he hid it so that no one else would have a problem. All I want to do is get what we deserve!"

Hiromi and Hanzo looked at each other as if he was saying to her that they had to go back to the palace.
