COLLEGE DIARY CHAPTER 1 "Dear DIARY, It's me Milandra I just wanted to say I feel a little bit sad about moving out ,I feel nervous about going to another country and through all these emotions I am asking myself is this really a start of something new ?Maybe I am stepping into a world full of the unknown but I just want to say I will carry you even in my own coffin ,Now let's pack and go I hope I will make friends maybe do things I never thought I would do hey . But more than anything I hope my academics won't pull me into depression I heard from my cousin Zoe that College life is not a child's play ground but i hope it won't be as hard as she made it seem, for now I'm closing you and packing you". "Milandra finish up packing ,we have to leave now Baby". Milandra's Mom shouts from downstairs ,Milandra chuckles as she packs her teddy bear, Her teddy bear and her Diary are her bestfriends . "I am coming Mom",She shouts back as she drags her suitcase feeling a little bit sad as she looks at her room for the last time ,not last last but for now she feels like she is abandoning home . "Come baby we have alot to do today ,Groceries ,Bedsheets and viewing your room for the last time let's go",Her Mother says already pulling the suitcase off her hands ,She grabs her car keys and instruct Milandra to quickly eat before they leave . Milandra's Dad join Milandra and they reflect on her childhood memories, Laughing together . "I hope you will behave your self there Mili",Her father finally says after a long moment of dreading this topic ,At the end of the day he needs to have this talk with his only daughter ,Advice her and be her support system . "Dad ,You and Mom are going to die early if you don't stop worrying about me i am nineteen incase you forgot".-Milandra Her father chuckles and pulls her into his arms for a brief fatherly and warm hug . "We love you ,You are our only child",Her father Says right at that moment Her mother returns and joined them . "You guys are fake, a Hug without me ?",She asks playfully and they Crack up in laughter . Okay ,You must be wondering what happened after that beautiful day ?What happened is what is in the Diary . "Dear DIARY, My Mom and Dad dropped me off at my campus last week and ever since then i have been really struggling to sleep because of the noise my roommate makes, If she is not playing some hip hop,She is singing old church songs loudly and I haven't slept good for a while ,I want to tell her about this but I am scared ,She seems like a loud ,vibrant person . While I am just a girl who sits at the library longer than necessary, A girl who loves coffee and ofcourse a girl who watches rugby like i can play it . Our personalities just don't click ,She is more of a going out person than me ,She brings her friends over sometimes and it really affects me and I just leave to study at the library. The way her friends look at me unsettles me it is obvious they speak about me in my absence ,I don't want to be mad about it because the is nothing I can do about it ,My parents check up on me everyday and even ask how are things between me and my roommate and they know her as the most kindest person to ever exist but only if they knew her like I do ,Bye Diary I will tell you more about ny studies when I catch time but for now ?I have a class to attend and a test I have been studying really hard for to write so we will catch up some other time ".
