Half A Heart

The Fight

I am laying in bed. My pillow is falling off the bed so I hold it closer. Stupid pillow. My pillow then groans, wait pillows don't groan.

My eyes shoot open and I see an annoyed Ethan, I do a nervous chuckle and let go of him.

He just shakes his head and heads toward the bathroom. I get up and get dressed before walking downstairs. I see Mercuades but I ignore her.

She then walks up behind me and speaks, "You worthless little mutt. You do not deserve Ethan. I will get him."

"No, Mercuades, you won't because Ethan is mine, and my pinkie finger is worth more than you."

She sneers, and then she slaps me. I then flash my eyes a bright yellow color, and slap her back. She shifts and so do I. We fight and I was just about to pin her before I was tackled by a wolf I see it is Grayson. I growl, he growls back. Then I see Ethan come down the stairs and he sees what is happening. It takes him a second before he realizes what is going on.

He then shifts and tackles Grayson. We all four are fighting when the door opens and reveals the alpha. He sees the seen before is before growling causing us all to quit fight and we all go get dressed before trudging down stairs.

"Now what has happened here?" Asks the Luna."

"Well, I came down here to grab some food and Mercuades decides to slap me!"

I hear Ethan growl at Mercuades.

I then see the Luna look at me and say, "She is your future Luna she has a right too slap you."

This calls for Mercuades to smirk and Ethan to growl really loud. He then speaks, "This is enough, Mercuades is not our mate. Amber is!"

Grayson and Mercuades both look at Ethan with deadly glares.

The color drained from the Luna's face, "Grayson is this true."

Grayson just looks down and nods. Both the Alpha and Luna gasp.

Then they come over and hug me, saying I will make a wonderful Luna while Mercuades is slowly backing away then the alpha looks up, "Mercuades how dare you pretend to become Luna!"

Then she looks at me with rage, "How dare you. I spent weeks getting Grayson to make me Luna, do you know how hard it is to convince someone you love them when you don't?" She then covers her mouth realizing she said that out loud. The king grabs her and takes her down to the cellars with Ethan.

Grayson hasn't said a word but you can tell by his eyes he is hurt.

I then do the thing I thought I wouldn't ever do willingly. I hug him, he hugs back and cries into my shoulder.

I feel so bad, even he does not deserve that.

He then pushes me away and runs upstairs, wow, talk about mood swingers. I just hope he feels better.
