The vow to hate

No way” is he that rich, because only one could send such money after a one-night stand, she said, staring at me . From the way he spends it, he looks like one, because everything about that day was given a luxury lifestyle. I replied. "You're giving me something out of this money," she said with a stare. Yes ma, who collected the d**k. I asked “You did, ma” all hail to you queen of the great p***y. She said, laughing. Alright, you definitely take it when you get to work for me. I said feeling the authority my boss does whenever he's talking to us. "I have to go now. "We will talk more when we close, and don't forget about my share," she said, rushing out of my office back to hers. Could it be I just slept with a random guy without any commitment to each other? I loved him no doubt, but he never made his intention known to me. Just when I was lost in thought, I got a knock on my door. “Yes, come in," I said, jerking. The boss needed the document on his table now, she said, and closed the door behind her. She was the personal assistant to my boss. She finds it hard to greet anyone except my boss, of course. Immediately, I finished the job on the document and went straight to his office. Just then, I met him leaving his office. "Drop them on my table," he said as he walked out on me. "Alright sir," I replied as I made my way into his office. I went back to my office, gathered my things and walked out, locking the door behind me. It was time to go home, which is always something I look up to too. Just then, I met, evenly coming out of the elevator, with some of our colleagues. “Hey baby gal” she said, smiling coldly. Yes, what makes you so happy? I asked, wanting to know the secret. You, of course, I remembered I was getting extra cash from you, so I'm happy. She replied happily. Just be playing, who said I'm giving you a dim out of the money I asked C'mon, aren't you going to give your fashionistas, she replied. "I'm not giving up, my fashionista has her body, so she should use it properly since that is the next line of action," I replied. "I know you just don't mean it," she said. Let's see. Then, we walked past the door and off we went outside the gate where everyone normally finds their way out. Evenly was the only colleague I associate with that much, not because I don't like talking to others, but because I don't like sharing my secret with anyone who calms themselves down. Hope you are still going to send in some funds. Her voice called me out back to myself. "Yes ma," I said as I took a taxi. We don't stay on the same axis, so we don't go home together. She lives alone on the next street close to mine. I got home, freshened up and went out down the street to get some snacks for dinner, because I don't feel like cooking. I lay down on my bed as I scrolled through my social media handles. Smiling and laughing at all the events happening around you. After a few hours, I dropped My phone, said my prayers and slept off. I can't believe I was used and dumped just like the usual way w***e is used. I lost my courage and zeal to work. I see myself as a lesser version of who I used to be. I fell for his devilish touch and promises, and now he is nowhere to be found. He disappeared into thin air that no one could see. I searched all over social media just to get in touch, but it was so unfortunate that he had indeed gotten what he wanted and is now gone for good. The memories of that night haunt me, replaying like a cursed movie in my head, leaving me more disappointed in myself each time. A few days ago, I met another man. A young and charming man who claimed to like me for who I am. “Hello,” he said with a smile that only managed to irritate me. “How are you doing today? I didn't look up. “How may I be of help to you, sir”? “ I’d like to take you out on a date. That if you don't…I cut him off instantly. “I'm not interested in whatever you have to say” I snapped, walking toward the counter to pay for my drink. “You don't need to be this uptight,” he persisted. “I wouldn't call you cheap because you're –” “ Oh, please!” I cut him off sharply. “Get out of my sight before I call security. You have nothing better to do than stalk women who just came for a drink.” I slammed the money on the counter, sipped the last of my shot, and turned to leave. Why would he even use the word cheap? Did I look cheap? Did I act like one? His words cut deep, dragging me back into my darkest memory. All I wanted was peace. Was that too much to ask? I was fooled by someone I barely knew. Now they want to crawl back into my life and make it more miserable than it is now. “All I wanted was a drink after work, but even that peace was ruined by men with their useless attitudes and unwanted concern.” I picked up my bag as I walked toward the door, with the relief that the pest was nowhere to be found. Just as I stepped my leg outside, I saw him waiting behind a car, “What in GOD 'S name? Do you want from me? I took out the shade of my bag as I walked toward the gate where I could book a cab heading toward my destination. "I'm still waiting for you, my angel," he said, trailing behind me. “What part of I'm not interested in don't you understand?” I barked, still walking without looking at him. If you don't let me take you on a date, at least let me drive you home,” So you think, I should let you so you can't start stalking me. I waved a taxi, ignoring him completely. Sliding into the car, I shot him one last look. “Here's some advice: learn to mind your business. And maybe work in your hygiene. You smell awful. I rolled up the window and leaned back, finally putting distance between us. That night, as the taxi carried me away, I swore never to let another man near my soul again. Love had become a weapon, and I was done being the victim. From that moment, I started building something no one Could never break walls around my heart.
