Once Failed Love in Autumn

In a world full of strangers, is it coincidence or destiny?  Venice Atarah Rodriguez, a simple rich girl, shy, introverted, and fat. She’s insecure about her physique and scared to reveal her real identity with the thought that people will befriend her because of her family’s wealth. Because of her physique and low-esteem, she became an easy target for the bullies at her school. She met her first love during junior high grade 10 in Clinton’s University, a state university, which consists of different types of people in various social classes. It also became her learning place, not just in academics but also in life.  Valentines' Day, Venice is excited to give her personally bake cookies to her boyfriend Sam, she even stayed all night to perfect her recipe and place it in a boxed heart with a letter handwritten by her. At the break, she went to his seat and tapped him, Sam stood from his slumber and faced Venice who is smiling brightly. “Hey” Sam simply said, then, Venice handed him her gift. “You made this?” He asked with a weak tone. Venice nodded energetically. Then, one girl named Shannon stood up and harshly pulled the box from Sam’s hands and threw it on the side. Venice was stoned on the side confused about the happenings. Everybody stood up and surrounded them, some took out their phones to record the happenings. “Ohhh. Did you really think Sam loves you? Hhahahahha (Bitchy Evil Laugh)” Shannon pushed her, she fell on the floor weakly “ Mad Pig” then she sprayed her with her cologne “You smell like sh*t, Eeww (with great disgust)” “I wonder how Sam was able to even talk to her. EWWWW” Another girl exclaimed She looked at Sam with disbelief. Sam looked at her eyes with both guilt and sadness, while Shannon was clinging to his arms. Her tears wanted to fall so badly, everyone was throwing tissue at her and some even throw alcohol bottles. As she covers her head and face as defense from the flying objects. “Sorry” Sam spoke in the wind. When Venice saw it, her tears immediately fall endlessly. As her classmates continuously throw things at her, she saw black leather shoes stood up in front of her. Everyone stopped throwing, and the room was filled with silence.  “Daniel” Shannon exclaimed with a surprised tone. “What are you doing?”  He didn’t reply to her and knelt down in front of Venice and faced her. He took out his handkerchief and wiped her tears. Then turned his turn on his back, Venice was skeptical of his actions. Why would this infamous campus heartthrob guy help her?  “Are you a fool or what?” She whispered to him, Daniel chuckled. “Get on my back” He simply said. “Hurry up, I may cramp here” Venice still stayed in her place and not following Daniel. Then, Daniel turned and pulled her hands and put them on his back. She had no other choice than to get on his back. She was surprised when Daniel stood up in one go while carrying her on his back. ‘This guy does works-out huh’ she thought Daniel carried Venice going to their school clinic. The nurse immediately washed her wounds and added medicine to them, while Daniel applies a cold compress on her bruises. “Why are you doing this? We aren’t even close” She asked, Daniel looked at her and smiled “You’ve suffered too much already. It’s enough” he simply said and went away
