Sophia’s POV
There was more to her looking after me, but Derek didn’t need to know that. Surely he had to be bored with all the stories I had been telling him so far, plus being his mate, we needed to be strong or what was going to happen to him? He would be too much of an easy target. He was looking at me like I should be saying something else. Once he realised that was all I was going to say. He didn’t press the matter anymore.
I was looking out the window again. This mini city was stunning. The odd thing was there was no one around, though.
“Where is everyone?” I asked him.
“It’s the pack family fun day today.” Beatrice said to me. I had actually forgotten that she was with us, as she was so quiet sitting in the corner seat.
“What is the family fun day?” I was interested in this.
