Chapter One 

Gabriel POV 

"Not only am I Rich, the captain of the football team, very handsome but I am a good leader and it has been shown in the past year I was student body President and an excellent one. And if you Vote for my good friend Quinn things will changes, like do you honestly want someone who will enforce everyone in the some to do sports. Or do you want someone who will demand us to have air conditioning in the classrooms" when I said that many people cheered on and making noises, "you know I heard this very powerful saying that says rather the devil you know than the devil you don't know? So Vote for me Gabriel Rubio, I promise to make every one of you happy" I said and as I walked away people were chanting and shouting my name. 

I walked up to my best friend, Mark who was smirking and shaking his head. 

"What, you did it like it?" 

"No, you are basically using propaganda on these poor people. You say you are going to do something but you know damn well that you are not going to do it, and you know that the principal will never allow us to have air conditioning in the room" he told me

Mark has been my ride or dies buddy, he is also considered as my better half because he is known as a good/ humble boy while I am a wild type of guy. He is the only in the world who can be me down, and I thank God for him. 

"That is how you get to people's hearts by lying to them. If I don't no one and I mean no one will vote for me and I really want to be student body President" I told him 

He simply signed and chuckled 

"I understand bro, anyway we have a math exam that we need to go over. I know everything but the functions, that s**t really messes with my brain" he told me 

"Sure, let me quickly grab my bag from my locker," I told him and as I turned around I bumped into someone which caused them to fall on the floor with their books. 

"Oh s**t, I am sorry ma-" I was cut of when I saw who the person I bumped into was and it was Quinn

"Watch where you are going," he told me and started picking up his books 

"Why are you telling me to watch where I am going when you were the one who clearly bumped into me" I almost shouted 

This Guy was now getting on my last nerve, first, he wanted to challenge me with the whole student body president now he is causing unnecessary drama right now. I never have spoken to him my whole life it is only now, but he was known as a weird guy as he loved to wear black things which gave me and weird feeling, even his family was known for having a dodgy background. 

He didn't respond all he did was pick his books up, I then started to walk away and as I was walking away I saw one of his weird drawings and said to him 

"Hey Quin you forgot one," I said and throw it on the air and walked away 

What a loser, I thought

Later that day, everyone in the school was in the hall waiting to hear who the new Student body President was, I knew for a fact that I was going to be the student body president. 

"Good evening, to all the teachers and students. The news you have all been waiting for is here, in my hands. And the student body president is..." the principal of the school paused as he slowly opened the envelope and read the name on it. "And your New student Body President of 2020 is Gabriel Rubio," he said to and everyone in the room clapped and cheered on. I was so happy, but I was not excited because I knew I was going to the student body president of the school like no one could ever bite me in anything. 

I walked in the stage to say my prepared speech " wow this is a surprise to me to hear my name being called. It is my honor to be your student body president, with you knowing and believing in me and I promise to those who voted to me you will not be let down." I looked around and I saw Quin in the hall door looking at me with an evil eye and I smirked when j saw him "Thank you again, for your vote, I hope you guys have a wonderful day." I said and walked off the stage. 

This is something I can go home and tell my father, who will very proud of me know for sure. When he was in high school he was student body president for three years of his life and I am trying my best to follow in his footsteps feet. When I tell him the news he will be thrilled that us, if he's no good girlfriend, is not there.
