Chapter 2 

Gabriel POV 

"I was chosen as Student body President once again," I told my father in confidence, hoping he would be happy about what I told him. 

"Again, where your Student body last year?" He asked me 

"Yeah, dad I told you this and we even had a discussion about it," I said to him but he didn't seem to care because he was on his phone. The person he was talking to was probably more important than me. I honestly times wish my mother was here to listen to me. "I don't even know why I try with you sometimes" I whispered softly

"What did you say, buddy," he said to me but he was still looking at his phone 

"Nothing" I stood up and as I said that I heard the door open 

"Baby, I am here" I heard Vanessa shout from the hallway 

I hated with all my guts, whenever she is around she acts like cares about my father but really cares about my father's money. Even if I wanted to tell my dad her real intentions with him he will never listen to me. 

"Oh, Gabriel my sweet boy. You are here I can't remember the last time I saw you" she to me

I didn't respond all I did was put in my beat headphone and listen to my music. I honestly don't have time for her. I opened the fridge and grabbed a can of orange Fanta then walked to my room. 

Since it was Friday I wanted to host a Party to celebrate the fact that I am a student body president, at this club three blocks down from where I am. I am in a generous spirit I'm going to invite everyone to my school.

As I was getting ready to go and pick Mark up I was stopped by Nanny Mary. 

"And where do you think you are going young man" she questioned me with her deep British accent, she put the hands of her hips and gave me that look. 

"You don't need to know everything Mary, but since you are so nosy and bossy. I am going to club down the block" I told her and grabbed my keys about to leave but she said something, that made me stop on my tracks. 

"But I made you food, your favorite pasta with red soup on the top and some mini meatballs on the side," she told me and she looked disappointed that I could not eat it 

"I will eat it when I come back from the party I am not that hungry" 

"Okay, fine but when I wake up in the morning I want to have seen that you have eaten and you are not drunk," she said giving me that look like she was my mom 

"Why do you like acting my mom, you already have five children back in England." 

"While ever since your mom died I made it my job to take care of you and make sure you don't miss your life," she told me 

Mary Margaret has been my nanny for almost 17 years so basically ever since I was born. She doesn't really do anything, but tell all the other cleaners what to do, and on to of that she gets really go money from what's she tells me. She was there when I was born and also when my mother died giving birth to me. I have seen her as my mother and she has raised me but I always feel like I am missing something because my real mother is not here and Mary has five other children that live in England and she visiting them from time to time. I honestly don't know what I would do without her in my life cause she the only person who actually seems to care about my well being and how I feel. So, in other words, she is my step in mother from day one, and for that, I am forever grateful for her. 

"Okay, Mary I am going now," I told her and walked out of the house and got into my car then drove off you pick Mark up.

"Wow this party is lit, I never expected it to be this full man," I told Mark 

"Yeah, it is packed I just hope you have organized food for people to eat cause, they are no party with food," he said to me

I chuckled, Mark loves to eat but for some reason, he is very fit and well built. 

"Of course food is here like-" I was cut off when Lucy walked passed me purposely showing off her assets to me and Mark. 

I have been trying my best for almost a year to get her to be mine but she doesn't seem to want to be with me, but she is always giving me these mixed signs and I don't know if she wants to be with me or if she is just playing with me. 

"I will back man, you are part of the VIP people so just tell the guard my birthday date and you are in and plus they are a whole lot of snacks there but I am going to talk to Lucy," I told him and walked up to where she was standing

But as I was walking up to her I bumped into someone and their drink spilled on my new POLO T-shirt. 

"You, i***t" I shouted sand when I saw who the person was I grow even angrier because it was that i***t that thought he could overthrow me in because of Student body President, Quin. "Look what you did you ruined my T-shirt that probably cost more than your house that you live me" I shouted and the DJ that was playing the music stopped the music and people stopped dancing and looked at me shouting at Quinn. 

"It was an accident Gabriel-" I cut him off 

"That was not an accident Quinn and you know it. Who even invited you here, cause you are not welcomed at all......security please can you take this boy out of my party" I shouted out loud and the security came to take Quinn out and just as he was about to leave said something to me that didn't even make sense at all. 

"Watch yourself Gabriel, or the worst of the worst may happen to you" when he said that it seemed like everything around us and everyone seemed to have paused and it was just me and Quinn, his face changed and he smirked and then everything went back to normal.
