Gabriel POV

THE WEEK WHEN HAYLEY IS NOT YET HERE. 

"Your father has assigned a house nurse to come and at yeti your needs and wants, she has also said that she would be coming with her daughter. Hopefully, she is your age so you can talk to people instead of staying up in your room all damn day" she complained. 

"When is she coming?" I ask Nanny Mary 

"Sometime next week, but she will be coming from very very far that is what your father told me. So please be nice." 

Ever since there days ago it has just been Nanny Mary and Me all alone at home. My father never bothered to show up after the doctor's visit, maybe he thinks he will be the one who will get the illness but I am not sure. But Nanny Mary doesn't seem to be having any problems with her skin. I just wish I could get out of this body and finally be normal again. 

I miss going out with my friends and having fun with them. Lately, I have been having weird dreams about the night before all this happened and it always had Quinn in it talking saying those words over and over again. 

"I will see what I can do," I told her 

"I swear you have become even more bitter and mean, you were not normally like this when you were...." she paused and then said "a child" she quickly covered up what she was about to say 

"You meant to say when I was still a normal teenage boy, living my life. Trust me, Mary, I also wish I just as normal as you are right now. I honestly at this point hate my life and how it is turning out to be" I almost shouted 

"I know my boy, I don't like seeing you like this" she sympathized with me and then walked up to me and gave me a hug on my head. 

This was the best love and affection I have ever got from anyone, she was normally so tough on me and I knew she only wanted the absolute best for me. I put my hands around her waist and I felt her hands tracing my tattooed bold head. I felt a drop of her tears fall on my head and I could tell that she was crying.

"Don't worry about my Nanny Mary I will be fine, and if I an cursed for life with this face so be it cause I have honestly given up on life." 

"Hush your mouth I don't ever want to hear you speak like this. You are going to get better very soon I promise" she said and just as she said that the doorbell rang and she went to go answer it

I was just left in my room, trying to understand life, and why me. Why am I the one who has this problem?

Later that day in the night around 11:47 in the night I didn't go check of the party that was being held at marks house. It was his 18th birthday party and it was basically a Halloween themed party because that was his favorite holiday.

I ordered myself an Uber, which cost less than 5 dollars, I was actually so happy that the person who was talking me didn't look or even bother to talk to me. All she said was hey and bye. 

When I got to his birthday party, everyone looked so freaking and since I looked like a beast I kinda fitted in with the people. Then all of a sudden I thought about who was Student body at school and then realized that it was Quinn cause he was runner up and since my father told the school I would not be attending anymore my position is officially taken. 

Just as I was thinking of Quin I saw him walking into the party with a weird T-shirt on and fake blood on his face. I ran up to him but just as I was about to run up to him, I bumped into someone and when I realized who it was my heart almost stopped because I didn't want them to see me. 

"Hey watch where you are going Dude," Mark said to me and he looked really pissed 

Normally I would get into a heated argument but I quickly turned around and said 

"Sorry man I didn't see you" and quickly walked away 

As I was walking past people they kept saying how good I looked because they thought I was dressed in a custom thinking I was someone else. If only they knew it was me, I also wish that would have been the case.
