Chapter 7

As I was walking to the kitchen I saw Quinn once again, he turned and when he did he seemed smiled and walked around into thin air. I was about to follow him but when I walked up to where he was standing he disappeared. I know that boy had something to do with my I am in this state. 

People around the school talk about it sometimes, but how he does funny things with his family, his four sisters were in the school before and people said that they were very weird and didn't seem to be like the normal type of people's you would want to be around if that makes any sense at all. 

Around as I turned around I saw Mark and Lucy in the corner of the room kissing and making out. Mark was all over Lucy kissing and touching her everywhere and he looked so into it. Angry and jealous I walked up to them but stopped halfway. Instead of pushing Mark I stopped in my tracks and just said 

"Lucy, Mark" and that was enough for them to stop what they were doing. He broke up from him and he said "did you hear that" he said looking around 

"No, what was it," Lucy asked him but at the same time, she was touching him still wanting more. 

"No Lucy stop this," he said removing her hands from him, she looked pissed and stood up. "I knew this what going to be a bad idea, maybe we should just stop all of this" 

"What are you talking about, this love affair has been going on for months now. So I don't know why only know you want to act like this" she said 

Just as he was around to say something the music started to play even loud and I was not able to hear what he said. But I was really angry with what just happened. 

My own best friend betrayed me like this and it seems like this has been going on for months. And the Lucy girl, I never actually considered her my girlfriend because she has been around, he has been dating a lot of boys and to be honest I am not surprised she went for a friend of mine. 

I decided to walk out the balcony to get some fresh air, and also clear my mind. 

First, it was this thing that made me look like a beast, then it was my father leaving me to basically fend for myself now it is my own best friend that stabbed me in the back for who knows how many months. Can my life get any worse at this point? 

"Actually, you won't believe what I am about to tell you" I almost jumped when I heard a voice behind, turning around it was Quinn with a devilish smile on his face. 

"What are you doing here," I asked him 

"I'm just here to tell you that, the only way this curse can be broken is if you....." just before he was about to say that I walked up to him and grabbed him by the neck and slammed him against the wall. 

"you son of a...." 

"Be careful now if you left anything about happens to me, you will be stuck with this curse for the rest of your life" he laughed wickedly and I removed my hands from his neck 

"So it was you how gave me this monstrous face?" I said in anger 

"Yes, I didn't the only way it can be taken away is if you, find someone who will love you for who you are. 

And no what you are," 

"What the hell is that supposed to me, I will be able to find someone. When I have a face like this" I almost shouted

"That is unfortunately not my problem, dear Gabriel Rubio all I know is that you have 9 months to find that person who will love you and not care about your features or even what you are" 

"How in God's name am I siloed to find a 'lover' in 9 months?" I asked him 

"Not my problem, time is ticking and doesn't seem to be in your side at all" he laughed just as I blink my eyes he was gone. It seems like he was all in my head. 

What am I going to do?
