Prologue
Fear was visible on Akira’s face as she kept running through the forest with the cry of her child feeling the air, her grip on her child was so tight, tight enough to hurt the little baby. Her shirt stuck to her back due to how sweaty she was. The throbbing beat of her heart increased as she the footsteps behind her back became louder.
In no time they’ll surely catch up with her. No way!!..... Her body became weak and her legs were about betraying her. She won’t let them get her daughter, never..... but she knew she had to act, she had to act fast.
The effect of the potion Akita gave her haven’t yet faded, making it impossible for her to use her powers, but she wasn’t going to give up, she had to do something. The footsteps behind her became even louder and it won’t take a minute for them to catch up with her. She stopped running to search for a solution, her sharp eyes caught a shallow hole dug at the a side of the huge forest, without so much contemplation she ran towards the hole that was wide enough to contain her daughter. it was risky but it was her only hope.
“The only thing you can do for mama right now is to keep shut, don’t cry, please.....” she pleaded with her daughter who stared at her with her innocent blue eyes. She gently placed her child into the hole, she pulled a huge leave hanging on of the trees and covered the hole, such that no one could tell that there was a hole there. She could only pray that no one steps into the hole.
She exhaled deeply before she resumed running,but in no time she was surrendered by the armed soldiers of the pack. She was caught!!!..... they was so much in number, she stood still staring at the men who were glaring dangers at her.
“How far did you think you could run Akira???,” Yutani asked climbing down the horse with the help of some soldiers. Akira furrowed at the sound of her voice.... That voice that infuriates her .
“You devil,” Akira spat, her voice full of venom.
“Where’s she? Where’s the little witch?,” Yutani asked with a sneer look on her face as she looked around.
“You’ll die an embarrassing death Yutani, for doing this to me you won’t live to see a good day,” Akira cursed snorting.
“Haha haha. So sorry that things turned out this way, but hope you remember that you’re from an ill fated family. For you to have dreamt of becoming the Luna.... being loved by the Alpha doesn’t grantee you that my dear, things don’t work that way. Poor thing,” Yutani went on, trying to ravage the little sanity Akira had left.
“Now, enough jokes already, the child.”
“You’ll never find my child, no matter what you do,” Akira’s statement attracted a resounding slap from Yutani
No, never, Yutani can’t allow that child live..... although she was a female, the fact that the Alpha’s blood runs in her, she was a threat.
The angry Akira could do nothing, just if only her powers could function, Yutani wasn’t a match for her. “No matter what you do you can’t change the fact that your child is an illegitimate child,” Akira voiced with her hand on her cheek. “You killed the Alpha cuz you knew he already found out, devil”
Akira’s words anger Yutani draining her little patience, in anger she shifted to her wolf form and attacked Akira. She growled in victory when Akira’s body laid lifeless on the ground.
