Episode 1: The boy I can’t stand
The first day at Royal High was supposed to be ordinary for Elliot. He wanted to keep his head down, attend his classes, and avoid unnecessary drama. Unfortunately, his plan lasted less than ten minutes. As Elliot walked through the crowded hallway, he accidentally bumped into Adrian Blackwell, the school’s arrogant young master. Adrian was rich, popular, and used to everyone stepping aside for him. Elliot, however, simply apologized and continued walking. Adrian stared after him, completely offended. “Does he seriously think he can ignore me?” he muttered. By lunchtime, everyone was already talking about their encounter. Elliot tried to ignore the whispers until Adrian appeared at his table. “You owe me an apology,” Adrian said. “For what?” Elliot asked calmly. Adrian’s expression hardened. “For embarrassing me.” Elliot laughed. “You embarrassed yourself.” The cafeteria went silent. Nobody talked to Adrian like that. For the first time, Adrian looked genuinely surprised. Instead of walking away, he leaned closer and said, “You’re going to regret that.” Elliot met his eyes without backing down. “Maybe. But I’m not scared of you.” Neither of them realized it yet, but that argument was the beginning of something that would completely change both their lives.
