O child, come close to me, I am your mother, your only refuge. When the world turns away from you, My arms will still remain open. I carried you through pain and prayer, Fed you with love, raised you with dreams. Every tear of mine became your strength, Every smile of yours became my life. When you stumble on the rough paths of life, Do not fear the darkness or the storm. Hold my hand and walk forward— My blessing will light your way. The world may judge you harshly, Friends may forget you in time, But a mother’s heart never changes, It beats only for her child. Even when I grow weak and silent, My love will speak for me. In every breath you take, remember— Your mother lives within you. So walk bravely, my dear child, With truth, kindness, and courage.
