Jeanette slipped on the gold heels and then dabbed on some of the most expensive perfume she had, which was one Ramon had bought for her when they were out on their travels in Venice. She gave herself one final look in the mirror, wiped off any excess lipstick, and nodded. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail and then curled. And when she got back to the room, she took extra care with her makeup to give herself that sensuous, smokey eye look.   And as she added the dangling ruby earrings, the simple gold chain, and the gold bracelet, she looked like a different woman. This was a woman that belonged in Ramon’s world. This was also a woman that wouldn’t be seen again because this wasn’t her world.
