Chapter 27Georgina Hanson sat in her ergonomic chair and readjusted the bendable arm on the magnifying, overhead lamp. She directed the light directly onto her worktable, and assortment of tools. From the bowl in front of her she selected a large, white goose egg. She held it under the light and inspected the shell for blemishes. Satisfied, she placed small strips of tape just over each end of the egg, and then pierced the top of the egg with a pin. Georgina held the pinholed end of the egg over a plastic bowl, and then inserted the pin into the flat end of the egg. From the first hole some of the yolk and contents spilled into the bowl.
