It wasn’t the first time I had been invited to the traditional Sunday BBQ, but it was the first time I was attending with Corey and Hank as my boyfriends. And even though it was a beautiful day, I couldn’t shake the nervousness that seemed to cripple me. Corey led us straight to Naomi and Erik’s backyard, and it was buzzing with life.
