Jack “Ugh,” I groaned as the dull ache in my head was the first thing I felt when I opened my eyes. I slowly sat up and blinked against the morning light streaming through the living room window. On top of the headache, my body felt weighed down and sore. Everything was fuzzy and hazy and as I looked around, it took me a moment to remember where I was. I was in Tori’s apartment, and I had slept on the couch. I was still wearing yesterday’s clothes, and the unmistakable sting of a hangover hit me as soon as I tried to stand up.
