CHAPTER-2 TWO FAMILIES

Anna is a 19' year old girl living with her parents in a city of London. Her younger brother is staying away from them in a school hostel. They don't belong to this place but have moved here 16 years ago. When their homeland was attacked by the tsunami. She just remembered only this about her past.
Since then her family is living here. Her father Roger woods is working in a company and mother Mary woods runs a handicraft shop from the backyard of their small house.
Anna and her brother Jack both studied in the same school till higher secondary. It just a year ago that woods family decided to send Jack to overseas for further studies.
The decision was taken for the betterment of Jack's future. Though kids were not happy about this. It was hard for them to think about living away from each other. They share a great bond and always supported each other during difficult phases of life.
They dare not disobey their parents and Jack unwillingly went to the school hostel.
Anna didn't want to go out alone for studying so she opted for an online degree course and joined a company as a computer typist. Her motive behind was to help her parents financially.
She was very ambitious since her childhood and always wanted to be an independent working woman. They are a kind of happy middle-class family struggling daily to earn there bread and butter with no enthusiasm to grow to be rich. In their small world, they are happy to be safely living together.
Woods family don't have many friends and relatives. Anna didn't remember anyone visited them or they had gone to visit their relatives other than Mrs. Hamilton since they moved out of their homeland. Mrs Hamilton is an old lady who lives with her son Robby.
Mrs. Hamilton runs a small café in the street market and lives in the basement of the restaurant. She is a single parent, her husband died in a road accident after two years of their marriage but because Robby was a year old that time Mrs. Hamilton never desired to remarried she just lived up for Robby and always work hard to give her son the best life. Her husband established this restaurant long ago and after the death of Mr.Hamilton, Mrs Hamilton took the responsibility of the restaurant to earn their livelihood. Robby is a shy young boy and Anna's only cousin or childhood friend.
Since Robby always was very quiet and maintain a distance from Anna and Jack these siblings also behaved the same with him. Both the families are from the same homeland and share the same disciplined life in this foreign land. They owed so many things to each other.
Anna, Jack and Robby were not allowed to make friends they never attended any school trips or functions. They have never been to any fair as children. During their childhood at every festival like Christmas or New year, they just visited each other.
Anna's father is a bit strict when it comes to following the rules.
Anna remembers once when Jack was 8 years old he brings one of his classmate home. That evening after Jack's friend left Dad scolded Jack very badly and punished him hard.
Since then both of them always afraid to break the rules of the house. They never disobey their parents and adopt the habit of living an isolated. Life with no feelings and no emotions towards the surrounded muggles. They always afraid of making friends since then.
Now as Jack has also gone far away. she gradually feels more lonely and sad.
