Sue woke up to the soft snores of Rick blowing warm air at the back of her neck. Her body ached in places she had no idea it could ache. Gingerly, she stretched her limbs and tried to pull out of Rick’s tight embrace. He was spooned at her back with his arms wrapped firmly around her body. It was clear he had no intention of letting her go, not even for a second. “Mine,” Rick mumbled in his sleep and tightened his hold on her. Sue couldn’t help the smile that broke on her face. She waited a few more minutes, then tried again. But when it resulted in pretty much the same reaction, she sighed and tapped his arm. “Rick, get up…” Her voice was gentle. She wasn’t surprised when Rick didn’t even stir. Raising her voice and shaking his arm a little harder, she called at him, “Rick, come on…
