Chapter 2

We were finally finished with the biology class , Our teacher told us about animal tissues .

It was a new topic and even interesting. But not as interesting as those school days , The throwing of paper balls on the teacher , bunking the class , and especially coming late to class and hiding from the teacher , the fun we had was amazing .

David and Juliet also came out of the class , it was recess .

David was cool , he threw the paper ball on my head and I was really gonna slap him but immediately the principal came to tell us about the examinations in September .

It was 2 months and 29 days away but still the principal wants us to learn that far .

David said to me "Let's drink coffee , and chill, it's the first day."

I replied "Huh , Okay!."

Juliet also came with us for free cup of coffee paid by David.

But I wanted to be independent, so i said David easily that I'll do the treat . And he agreed because no one likes to spend , they save. Smart right ?

I only had two dollars but coffee was of three dollars for three people . So 8 declined to drink coffee . Still I was starving because I ate nothing from the morning.

David was starting at me , he gave me a sip of coffee , so kind of him .

David - I know you are hungry .

I replied "I'm just in dieting" .

Finally the recess was over and we returned to our class . Still all the incidents of my class were roaming in my mind . I was remembering all those school days and fun we did .

After attending a few more lectures , we were free . It was holiday now .

I went out as my mom was gonna pick me up on her delivery bike . Suddenly Juliet also came on the spot . She was starring at me like I did any crime or murder . It's her nature only so i ignored . And finally my mom came .

Flavia ( Mel's mom ) - Come honey , let's go .

Juliet - Oh so you go with this delivery woman ?

Mel - What do you mean , she is my mom . Mind your language !

David came on the spot .

David - What the hell are you saying Juliet. Don't you know how to respect elders ? Shame on you . I'm so sorry aunt from her side . It's her nature .

Flavia - It's okay .

It was the first time for me that someone supported me .

We arrived back to our home . I think my mom was not feeling well and still there were some pizza's to deliver . So I decide to deliver those parcels . My mom was happy and me too.

My biggest inspiration was my mom . She was my hero . I don't know how people don't respect their parents . I love my mom more then my life .

I took the address slip and arrived towards the first address. It was nearby only . Like 3 km ( 3000m ) away . I knocked on the door .

No one opened .

I decided to ring the bell. I heard some foot steps from the other side of the door , seems like someone is coming .

A man opened the door . It was David lol !

David - What are you doing here Mel ? . And how's that pizza box in your hands ?

Mel - just helping my mom , she is sick . May i get a glass of water please ? .

David - Ya sure , come in .

I sat on the sofa . His house was really big . Suddenly his sister came ( her sister is Kelly ) .

Kelly - Who are you , stinky lady ?

Mel - O-Oh h-hi . Im David's friend , Mel . He must have told you about me ?

I was a bit scared of her because he had long and messy hair , she was wearing a very short dress of black color and had too much makeup on her face .

Kelly - He didn't , and why are you so sweaty and wearing this delivery girl dress ?

Mel - O-Oh , my mom is a delivery girl and I'm just helping her in work and co-incidencely , I met David .

Kelly - Then why are you sitting here , get off these sofas ! . Right now !

I ran out of the house .

David - Where she went ?

Kelly - That delivery girl ?

David - Na , she is my friend. You made her get out ?

Kelly - Nope .

I reached home as soon as possible. Her sister was horrible on me .

And we never became friends .
