Her jealousy

A few days passed and Jim seemed to be happy with his new job. He would talk to a lot of people coming in to the restaurant. Today it was Friday and the restaurant was packed. Jim kept running up and down and he was exhausted.

At Emily's work place they get a half day on Fridays only so today she left work earlier. She came up with an idea to go and visit where Jim works instead of going home and be bored. She took a cab that took her to the restaurant. When she got off the cab she saw the big words written in bold letters

'HAPPY FULL TUMMIES '

She was excited to see his reaction when he sees her. When she entered she was surprised by how the place was full. Katrina went to her direction and showed her where she can sit. Emily was kinda disappointed as she wanted Jim to be the one that served her.

" Here is our menu, you can call me whenever you're ready to take your orders. In the meantime would you like something to drink?"

" No thanks I'm good." Emily smiled.

" Okay then call me whenever you're ready to take your orders." Katrina fled to another table.

Emily looked around to see if she can spot Jim but she was disappointed as she didn't see him anywhere around the restaurant. She begins to wonder if she had come to the wrong place. Then she recalls what Jim said about what the place he works is called.

" It's called happy full tummies"

When Emily got the name she was in the right restaurant. She took out her phone from her bag and was about to switch it on when she saw Jim coming out at the back. She immediately got excited and waved her hand, but unfortunately Jim didn't see her and rushed out to another table. Emily put her hand down feeling embarrassed.

She stared at him every move he was making. Jim felt someone staring at him but he didn't have time to look around to see who it is. When he got the order from the mother and his son he quickly rushed to the front to place the order at the counter. When he was about to reach the counter he accidentally bumped into Isabella that was carrying a tray with a glass of wine. The wine spilled all over her long sleeve shirt she was wearing.

Jim immediately took out a handkerchief and wiped the parts that got wet. When Emily saw Jim wiping her especially close to her chest, her eyes immediately flushed out with fire. She couldn't believe Jim would do something so intimately to someone else. She wished that she could get him away from her. She felt disgust and jealousy which she wasn't aware of.

Jim apologized and was about to leave he noticed there was still some few drops on her neck, he held her face gently and and turned her head so he can wipe off easily. Emily got angrier and hit the table loudly with her hand making people around her look at her. When she realized what she just did, she smiled apologetic and looked down in embarrassment.

Andrew saw what happened and couldn't wait till work is over so he could teach that boy a lesson. Isabella was shocked by what happened she didn't dare to look him in the eyes when he finished wiping her neck. She went in to the back and asked for another wine. when Katrina sees how red her face was she got curious and asked.

" What happened to your face? Did your crush proposed or something." Katrina was only joking with her.

" stop talking nonsense and get out there " Isabella said touching her face and found out that it is also hot.

Emily lost her appetite and could only think about what just happened. She couldn't wait to go home and ask him what is going on between her and that girl. But when she realized what she was thinking to ask him was non of her business as him and her aren't together. So could she get angry at him because of a girl he was so intimate to. Could it be that they are dating? The more she thinks about it the more she got confused.

" Why should I care about who he does intimate things to who" she tried to convince herself to forget about what just happened, but she couldn't as she was hurt.

After a while the people in the restaurant started to decrease. That's where Jim noticed Emily, he was kinda surprised and happy to see her. When Emily looked at Jim's direction, Jim waved at her happily. Emily put on a bitter smile and slowly prepared to leave. Jim noticed her smile wasn't her usual one and her face was upset. He wanted to rush over and ask her what happened but he was called to another table. Jim hesitantly walked to the table while looking at her.

When he was done with his shift sadly Emily was already gone. He kept thinking about her on his way home and started to walk faster. When he got home, he searched for her around the living room and kitchen before going to her room. When he enters, Emily was standing by the window and her back was facing him so he couldn't see her face clearly. He slowly walked towards her and intended to hug her but Emily refused and pushed away his arms.

Jim was surprised, it looks like Emily was mad at him. But he couldn't understand what he did wrong. He tried to remember, but nothing wrong he did this morning.

" Are you angry?" his voice sounded worried.

Emily didn't answer and decides to ignore him. Jim couldn't understand why Emily was angry with him. He suddenly puts his arms around her tightly. Emily struggled to get out of his arms, she tried everything in her power but she couldn't break free from him. Tears started to fall down her cheeks, she didn't understand why but she couldn't stand seeing Jim putting his hands on someone else.

" Let me go!" she screamed

Jim didn't know she was crying so he didn't let her go. Emily kept on struggling in his arms and when she saw there was no use all she could do is shout.

" YOU BASTARD LET ME GO! " Emily didn't actually mean to call him bastard, it's just that the word just slipped out of her mouth.

Jim was shocked. Did she just called him a ' bastard ' He didn't understand why Emily suddenly hates him now. Jim thought to himself and asked himself

" could it be that she found out about my true identity? is that why she came to the restaurant today so she could ask me? " Jim had never been so nervous around Emily like this. He got so nervous that he even forgot that he was still holding Emily tightly.
