The missing CEO

Wrongfully accused

When she got into the kitchen that was in jack's office she didn't know what to make. She wanted to prepare something nice but she didn't want to waste her energy for him after what happened yesterday. She looks in the drawer to find something easy to make that won't take her take her time.

She was pleased when she saw the packet of noodles. She became happy and cooked them in the microwave. Next she didn't know what she must add, she then decided to let her hands do the job without thinking 'what's going to taste better with this?'

She fried two eggs, added mayonnaise in the noodles and stirred. After that she took the fried eggs and crushed them all over the noodles. Jack was getting hungry when he smells the delicious meal.

When she came out of Jack's office carrying a bowl of noodles, Mila walked up to her deliberately bumping into her trying to make her drop the bowl she was holding. Unfortunately for her, Emily already seen through her plans and protected the bowl from slipping out of her hands.

Mila pouted her lips and was angry that her plan didn't work out.

" oh Emily, you are now cooking food so you can trick him? How shameless are you?" She deliberately said out loud so everyone could hear.

Everyone exclaimed looking at Emily. Some even made a nasty comment in front of her. Emily tried to hold her emotions and walks passed Mila. Mila didn't to let her go that easily.

" aww you're running away from the truth, how cute"

Emily was angry and wanted to respond but she calmed herself and enters the office. Seeing her entering without knocking, Jason assumed something is going on but he didn't have time to ask when the smell of the food found his nostrils.

Emily was still upset from what happened outside, so she hands him his food without even sparing a glance at him. She turned around and walks to the door. When Jason sees her eyes that were about to cry he stood up and stops her from leaving.

Emily stood in front of the door and said coldly..." you said I must make something for you to eat. I did. Now why are you still keeping inside? it's lunch time already."

Hearing her speaking coldly he wondered what happened." Turn around and look at me." he ordered.

Emily knew that if she turns around, her tears are going to come out so she stood trying very hard not to let her tears out. Seeing that Emily hadn't moved a muscle he asked her again. Emily had to stop her tears so she remained still.

Jason got tired and turns her around himself. When she saw that she was turned around, she looked at him coldly. When Jason sees her red eyes, he asked...." Who made you cry?" his voice was cold and yet had a bit of concern in it.

" I'm not crying nor I have cried." she responded stubbornly.

He walks closer to her hoping it will make her scared and speak up. Surprisingly she gets an outburst and said loudly...

" it's all your fault!"

Jason didn't understand what she was talking about. He thought maybe she had cut or burned herself while she cooking. " Are you hurt? Did you cut yourself? "

He takes her hands to look at them but shockingly, Emily refused and hid her hands behind her back.

" This is all your fault that this is happening to me. If you hadn't gotten so close to me, maybe people would not have been able to smell your cologne and start accusing me of seducing you!" she started crying on her last few words after thinking of what the other colleagues said, it really broke her heart when she recalls what happened to her when she was younger. What the colleagues just said was putting salt on the wound that hadn't been healed for a while.

Jason was looking listening to her attentively. Once he hears that she was accused of seducing him, before he could react Emily had already left the office. When he realized that Emily was gone, he calls jack to announce a meeting right after lunch.

When Emily ran out of the office she didn't want to stay anymore and decided to leave the company and went somewhere else to cool her mind down. When she was walking in the streets she didn't know where she is going and soon after she realized she has arrived at her house.

When she gets inside the house she overheads Tomika shouting at someone in the kitchen. When she walked to the kitchen she was shocked to find out the person she was shouting at was her Little Cub. Jim noticed Emily standing there in shock and looked down innocently pretended not to notice Emily.

" WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN i***t? CAN YOU SEE THE MESS YOU MADE YOU LITTLE BRA..." Tomika raised her hand preparing to hit him when a familiar voice stopped her.

Tomika got shocked after identifying who the person was. She turned around and puts her hand quickly away. Emily rushed over to Jim and hugged him. She turned head to Tomika and said coldly...

" you're fired." she said them word by word.

Tomika tried to explain herself but Emily cut her off and kicked her out of the house. When Tomika left she hugs Jim and apologized for not seeing her true colors. When Jim looked at Emily, her eyes were swollen a bit and realized that she had been crying.

His heart pinched. All he could think about now was to know the person who made her cry pay for it. He caressed her face before tears started to fall down her cheeks. Emily didn't know why she suddenly started crying in front of him and can't control it.

Jim felt a heartache when he saw her crying. He tried wiping her tears but they kept coming. Jim was at loss not knowing what to do to make her stop crying. Emily buried her face on his chest. Her sobbing made him feel miserable.

He really wanted to comfort her so he tried speaking. But no matter what he did he couldn't say a word. He tried really hard, but nothing came out of his mouth. The more Emily recalls what happened the more she cries. By now she didn't care weather she was crying in front of Jim or not. Jim couldn't control his anger right now, he tries one more time. This time with all his might, but nothing came.

He was at a stage that he was pissed of and angry at himself. He hugs Emily a bit tighter and slowly calmed himself down. Shockingly he muttered a word unprepared.

When Emily's face was still buried on his chest she heard someone say "sorry" she stopped for a second but then realized that her Little Cub can't speak.

Shocked by himself he tried saying the words again, this time it was louder. " I'm....I... I'm...s-s-s-orr-y."

Although it didn't sound very clear but Emily heard it clearly. She quickly looks up to him, her eyes were full of disbelief...
