signed up for the wrong job

After Tomika left Emily noticed Jim hadn't changed his clothes, meaning he hasn't bath. She washes him before making dinner. After dinner he took Jim to his bedroom tunked him in before returning to her room. It was raining that night, she went to Jim's room to ask him if he's not cold.

Jim nodded and went to sleep. when she leaves his room she went to the kitchen to drink some water. She then went to her room and lays down on her bed and signed the contract without reading it properly. When she recalls what happened earlier on in the office when she was alone with her boss. She took a pillow and cover it on her face and screamed.

She was so embarrassed when she thought that her boss might do something dirty to her. After an hour later, she was still tossing around the bed struggling to fall asleep when she thought how her boss looks so much like her Little Cub.After a while she finally falls asleep.

In the morning when her alarm rang, she woke up still feeling sleepy and went to take a shower. Today she decided to wear a pleated black skirt that revealed half of her thighs, a brown polo and a black jean jacket. On her feet she put on long black boots that reached her knees. She tied her long curly hear into a pony tail and put on a Pink lipgloss. when she went to check if Jim was still asleep, Jim's mind went wild when he saw her wearing a skirt that revealed her thighs. It was his first time seeing her dressed in something that shows skin. She was always wearing jeans and tracksuits.

When Emily saw his expression she looked down at herself looking for what's wrong before asking him...

" Is something wrong with my clothes, Little Cub?"

Jim quickly shook his head side ways indicating that everything is fine. Emily touched herself in the chest with a relief.

Jim was not feeling comfortable in his heart letting her go out like that. His face turned angry when he imagines how other men will look at her. He cursed himself for not being able to walk or speak otherwise he would have told her to go change right away as he wanted to be the only one looking at her revealing slender thighs.

Emily sat next to him and sighed, she wished that he could speak so she could ask him more about his background. She wanted to know if he was related to her boss. She thinks for a moment before asking...

" Do you perhaps have a brother?" she asked this question in a unusual way.

Jim frowned and quickly shook his head. He doesn't want anything to do with Daniel ever again.

Emily still didn't understand. She went silent and thinks. Jim couldn't tell what she was thinking or why she suddenly asked this question out of nowhere. Could it be that his family was looking for him?

He didn't want to go anywhere else except with Emily. He didn't want to go back to his old life where he was a CEO of a big company, staying in a luxurious home. He is starting to like his new life living with Emily. Every time he spends more time with her he gets this strange feeling he has never before felt with anyone. He didn't want to admit it that it's a feeling of falling in love as he didn't want to fall in love again afraid of getting his heart broken.

Ever since he could remember, Emily was so kind to him from the first day he was her. He wondered if she saved his life because she wanted to or she had to just because she wanted to save a stranger. He got so eagerly to ask her this question. He has so many things to say as well as ask.

He decided to to practice walking from today onwards. Emily looked at his lost eyes and asked if he was okay. Jim just hugged her and promised himself to protect her in the future.

When Tomika arrived, Emily rushed to work. When she got there everyone started to stare at her with disdainful expressions and whispered to each other. When Emily saw this she couldn't help but to wonder what Mila said this time.

When she got to her office, someone else was there and told her to go to the boss's office. She didn't understand why was she been kicked out of her office. When she entered his office, Jason's attention was drawn to her. He Stared at her for a while making Emily feel uncomfortable.

" did you sign the contract?" his deep voice sent Emily chills down her spine.

" y... yes" stutters when giving him the contract.

After handing the contract in his hands, Emily asked why she was kicked out of her office. Jason rubbed his temples wondering if she really read the contract before signing it.

" Didn't you read the contract?"

Emily nodded and responds... " yes I did... maybe a short paragraph. Why?"

" Well maybe if you went through the contract before signing it. You were going to know why you're here in my office." His voice was kinda harsh in Emily's opinion.

Emily was now totally blank, she asked why she was in his office.

" Don't you know that you are now my personal assistant?"

Assistant? His personal assistant? Emily kept asking herself these questions. how will people think now that I'm his Secretary? she felt uneasy.

Seeing her complicated expression, he asked her..." what's wrong? you don't want the job?"

Emily could not answer now. Her mind was full of lots of things and now she has to deal with this. If she accepts to be his personal assistant, that will only make things worse. More people in the company will be convinced that I seduced him.

"I need to think about it first " she unsteadily said.

" What's the to think about when I already gave you enough time to read the contract?" he thought this girl in front of him was foolishly cute.

" Can I read the contract again, please"

" there's no use reading it again, because you already signed and you agreed to the terms and conditions by signing." he hands her the contract smiling proudly.

She sat down in the couch that was in the and began reading. When she got half way to what her job is, she angry said, ," WHAT!?"

Jason was calm and asked..." What's wrong."

Emily was speechless. How can she be able to get time to spend with her Little Cub now?

" Why does it say that I must be available 24/7 and make you food? Is that even part of an assistant's job?"

" Yes it is part of your job. What do you think personal stands for?" he opens his laptop trying not to pay attention to her.

" But... I...I didn't sign up for this?" she couldn't believe that she came all the way just to be someone's 'personal assistant '

Jason didn't reply and continued to look at his laptop. Emily looked at him at loss. She can't be cooking for two grown men, at work and at home. She sat on the couch helplessly reading at the contract every now and then.

The office was quiet only the sounds of Jason tapping fast on his laptop were being heard. 30 minutes later, it was almost time for lunch. Emily couldn't wait to get away from him. She was frustrated how this job turns out to be.

When it was lunch time Emily was stopped while she was about to leave.

" stop. Make me something, I'm hungry" Jason demanded while his eyes were still focused on the screen of the laptop.

Hearing him demanding like a spoilt brat made Emily rolled her eyes in annoyance .

" Where must I cook? you don't even have a kitchen in here." Emily thought that since he didn't have a kitchen she won't cook. But her little hope was crushed when he said

" Jack will show you."

Emily cursed him in her heart. She didn't know this day will be going this badly.
