I guess the answer satisfied him as he nodded his head in agreement. I heard the sound of shuffling feet getting closer to the office.
"Seems our mystery rogue is here. Would that be all Ethan?"
"Yes Alpha."
"Good."
He turned around and walked to leave the office. Opening the door, he paused for a while before stepping aside and letting her in. As she came closer to my desk I noticed the stench from earlier was gone and in its place was the lavender and peppermint scent from earlier, which was drawing me in. Ryien was right.
Beneath that scent though, she didn't have a scent of a pack or a rogue. She was scentless. Interesting.
